It works… enter the digits on the t-stat twice. it’s a travel trailer so I don’t expect much less from a quality standpoint. ;)
Could not get working
So I’ve never been able to get the app to work. I have a brand new cfx45 that this app will not connect to.

If the thermostat knows what the temp is, 1) why does it have to be off? 2) why not able to see in the app? Should be able to see what the temp is at all times in the app!
It functions like the thermostat on the wall, it’s better in that the touch sensitivity on the wall is way off, too sensitive, go near it and it acts like you’ve touched it, so mainly use the app. This is why 3 stars and not 2.
Sometimes after an iOS update, (or if you try to connect when not near enough), app loses connection to thermostat and loses the name you gave it, have to pair again. Lame. It should at least keep it in memory.
Need to update the app. Dometic is huge, use some money to develop this app, most who use it don’t give feedback here.

Does not work with latest IOS
The app did not work for me since Fall 2020 (it’s April 2021 now). A few weeks ago it didn’t work, just crashed every time. Now it works, not sure why.
Agree totally with last reviewer
I have a disability the makes hard to reach or read thermostat. The APP was only way for me adjust heat or AC. Inconvenient to always get someone to adjust for me.

Does not work
This app was ok until recently. With IOS 14 I can’t even get it to boot. Crashes every time I try to open. Needs an update badly. My Bluetooth thermostat is useless now.
Time to update the app....2 Years? Seriously?
Last update was to accommodate iOS 11. iOS 14 is public and 2 years have passed. Time to put the insane high cost of your products to work, Dometic.
Not sure who is asleep at the wheel in app development, but an alarm clock or signal flare needs to go up at least quarterly. Your Bluetooth thermostat is still in some 2020 models, so let’s get off dead-center and support your equipment please.

Enter 2digit code twice to 4 digits
Enter code example 20 displayed as 2020. Took forever to figure out. Have to put code twice. If it told you this in app would be 4 stars. Also these thermostats should show current temp it’s reading but that’s just the hardware not app.

Works, but not great
This app works, but does not have the ability to show the current temp. This is disappointing.
Poor instructions
If only the app told you to enter the two digit code twice I would’ve been connected weeks ago. We bought our toy hauler with the stat already installed and info is hard to find. Also need to display current temp in the app.
Could be better
UPDATE: with the latest IOS update (13.1.2 (17A860)) the app no longer works. Will not connect to the thermostat.
What this app needs is the ability to set a schedule via the app so that I can have my AC/Heat come on before I get out of be, or so I can leave my Android tablet in the trailer and schedule it to turn on the AC/Heat before I arrive home.

Pairing
Entering the 2 digit code displayed by the thermostat twice, totaling an entry of 4 digits before hitting “Enter” is required..
It appears you are unable to display room temp from the app, like you can from the thermostat itself. A little disappointing, otherwise the app works.

Will not work on iPhone or iPad
I tried this app on an iPhone X and on an iPad Mini 4. After entering the pairing code on the app, I always get a failed to connect error.
Works great!
