What a joke

I have been trying a few of these apps to find which one works best for me. Long story short, I made sure Thine was on for a meeting I wanted recorded. Even kept the phone out and holding it so everything could be heard. It only caught the first sentence of me as I walked in. Whole 90 min meeting wasn’t there. Unbelievable. Not reliable and would not recommend. Catches other nonsense throughout the day but not what I needed. Very upset.

Useful tool but I feel deceived *Edited*

I bought into this app with the lifetime plan for $60 on September 13. That was all the payment plans I could find in the app. I read around for any other payment things and couldn’t find anything. It did sound great but there was just no clear explanation on anything they were going to charge money for anywhere I looked. Today, October 4th, around 3 weeks later, I noticed that the person ID stuff the app had been doing for me for the past 3 weeks stopped working suddenly. It also gave me a warning that I had 5 chat messages left for the week. My issue is that I’ve used the chat function and person id function all month without any clear indication that it was going to be stripped away from me. Now these 2 functions are stripped away and if I want to keep using them, I have to pay $15 a month. It’s possible they meant to sell the chat subscription from the start. But the way it was done, there was no warning that was coming at all. I think that practice deserves to be called out. I even got 4 copies of the $60 deal to my friends because it was great. I cringe at the thought that all of my friends are also going to find out their app functions are stripped when they wake up and that they will have to start paying 15 dollars a month to keep the chat.

EDIT: Updating this because the team made it better. After I reached out, they listened and gave every lifetime user who was affected by the pricing change 3 months of Intelligence for free. That includes the friends and family I bought the app for, and they didn't have to ask. Support has been responsive and kind the whole time. They also told me they're working on call recording, which was really needed to compete with other Ai note takers. I still think the pricing change should have been communicated more clearly from the start. But the app itself is genuinely great. I use it for teaching, for church, and for keeping track of my day, and I'm glad I stuck with it. I also still have a plaud so I will definitely be keeping track of the experience comparatively.

Best app I have used!

I love thine, it helps me manage my day and juggle between so many responsibilities.

Great meeting recorder

Medical appointments? Make sure you have Thine running before you go in, it’ll have everything that was discussed ,that you know you’re going to forget by the time you get home, all neatly laid out for you in a nice summary.

Bad PR

I do like the app. I’ll give it a couple of weeks, and then I’ll have to delete it if you keep using ad campaigns with vulgar language just to try to be edgy. Your app is good enough without being edgy, so quit trying to please a crowd and remember the customers you do have. Thank you, and have a fantastic day.

My memory for the road

I spend most of my day driving between sales calls, and Thine has become the way I keep track of every conversation. I tap once and it records while my phone is locked and while I switch apps. When I get back to the car I can ask what they said about their credit line, and it already knows which meeting that was from my calendar.

Things I like: it tells my voice apart from everyone else's, it moves between AirPods and the car without a hiccup, and every recording and chat goes into one memory, so I never have to explain the background again. I can pick up on my desktop right where I left off on my phone and work through notes and follow-ups on a full screen. Recording is off until I turn it on, I can pause or delete anything, and they say they don't use my data to train AI models. That matters when I'm talking numbers with customers.

What would make it five stars: there's no Windows version yet, so anyone on a PC can't use it at their desk.

If you live in conversations, this is worth trying.

Excellent

This has been an answer to what did I miss, I have needed so awesome.

Great app

I’ve been using this for a few days for conversations with friends and family, and I’m really impressed how well it helps me cope with ADHD, executive dysfunction, and short term memory loss.

I’m concerned about privacy, but so far i haven’t found anything that is so easy to use.

My mind appreciates Thine

I love that I can just click a button and forget about it. My interactions all day recorded, summarized and separated by topic. The summaries are great because they just point out the highlights and clearly states if a resolution was reached or not. It takes all the ambiguity out of daily interactions. Great when you’re married to a revisionist that can only seem to remember his side of the story!!!💕

It’s a great 1st step in recapping your day

Deceiving customers and unreliable

Bought it with the lifetime access plan only to receive an email a couple of weeks later saying that all of the included features would now be charged an additional monthly cost on top of the one time payment for the features. This was never disclosed and it’s ripping off customers who signed up with the expectation that all of the future is such as chat, and your AI assistant were included with the lifetime plan.

Recording is also spotty. For example, I recorded a full day of lectures yesterday only to have it remember the first 45 minutes. It seems to have lost, which was the most important content.

Do not buy, do not recommend… it’s false advertising

The Powerful Ambient AI that Gets Continuity Right

If you have used dedicated AI wearables, you already know the pain points: carrying an extra gadget, dealing with fragile hardware and broken clips, battery dying halfway through the day, and sluggish responses synced over Bluetooth.
Thine solves that by living directly on the phone you already carry. Because it taps into actual phone hardware and connectivity, the chat responsiveness blows standalone wearables out of the water.
More importantly, it nails continuity.
Most meeting recorders treat every conversation like an isolated silo where you have to re-explain your whole life before getting a straight answer.
Thine actually pulls together your hallway chats, personal notes, and connected apps into a cohesive whole.
It can connect dots across weeks of discussions, and it gives you the answers you actually need to hear rather than sycophantic generic fluff.
It has completely replaced the need for extra wearable hardware for me. Worth every penny.

Bait and switch

Don’t trust them. The software is interesting but they are not honest. Poor trait for a company managing your data from a system that listens to everything.

Lifetime deal???

Thought this would be a good purchase but the lifetime deal is junk. Save your money and get notability. Super disappointed. Big bait and switch.

Changed lifetime

I bought lifetime access and now they’ve changed what I bought as lifetime access. I feel cheated. This wasn’t super useful before and now it was just a waste of $59.

Aplicativo desonesto
