They said pay once and have a lifetime access. Now they want me to pay again or upgrade to the pro version. Same car I initially paired whit the unit. Very disappointed.
Terrible support
Purchased a Bluetooth Obd2 reader a while back ABBA haven’t needed it in a while. Went to use it a couple weeks ago it wouldn’t let me connect saying I needed to purchase something but my app shows that I have one available VIN left of the three it originally said I could use. Reached out to support TWICE and no response. Save your money and buy something better that distant falsely advertise licensing!

I just got my scanner out of my toolbox to reset a fault. The tool keeps turning off during the scan. It’s a useless device. I wish I could return it for a better one.

This is my second Think device and I love it! I got the better unit this time and it has saved me soooo much money and time diagnosing and fixing issues on my three vehicles.

Thinkcar just works with iOS
Works great on my iOS devices , without any problems . Was able to deal with battery management / registering a new battery on an e90 bmw yesterday, easily and quickly . I think it’s worth a few dollars here and there to perform procedures like that which (for me) is not all that often . Works quickly, and efficiently I also like the report option so I have a printed record .

Not working with 2022 subscription update.
I’ve tried it on two cars now, and it won’t do the System Diagnostic. Did the firmware update and no change. It used to work great.

The ThinkDriver works for 1 year then you throw it away. If you get a new phone the device won’t work, asks you to pay again. Keeps asking me to activate the device but I already activated it. Then it says it’s already been activated so pay again! Impossible to talk to any customer service person.
