Japan Rule
I can’t sign up to this app due to its anti-US rhetoric in its terms of use and policies. It simply states that where theres nuance, Japan rule overrides it, that doesn’t work in the US since if you sell to the country, you are required to follow their rules of engagement. And I won’t accept “we really didn’t mean that… You misunderstood” which is the usual go-to responses. They are also called “Thinkspace” yet have put full stop on any kind of content that might hurt someone’s feelings that might be in some of the research. I have a hard time with this since my research is often challenging. I wouldn’t want my documents deleted or taken down just bc someone from Japan reads it out of context. I had high hopes.

Thank you for the detailed feedback — and honestly, your reading was understandable. Here's a straight answer, not a "you misunderstood." The content restrictions you're referring to were written for a canvas-sharing feature that has since been discontinued — the clauses outlived the feature, and that's on us. By their own wording, they apply to content "transmitted to other Users," not to private canvases. The same terms also state: "We do not own your data. If the data was yours to begin with, it remains yours," and that your content is never used to train AI models. Challenging research is exactly what a thinking tool is for. On governing law: a Japanese-law clause is the standard arrangement for an app operated from Japan — the mirror image of US apps designating California law — and it does not override the consumer protections you're entitled to in the US. I am using this app and making a tree diagram. The limited version gives me I guess 70 elements to add. Before I go for purchase, it’ll be helpful for me to know the limits of the full upgraded version in terms of how many depth levels can I go, how many elements can I have in each depth, just like the limits on rows and columns of a two dimensional matrix having limits m and n. Also, how many total elements I can fit in the tree diagram (m*n). This info will be really helpful for me in taking the decision.
Also, I want to ask if there's a one time lifetime purchase option to skip monthly or annual subscriptions, Id like to go for that in case my requirements are met by the app.

Confused, but holding hope.
ThinkSpace is simply non-responsive after installation. I've checked that my system meets requirements. As it does, I'm lost to find a reason.
I really want to try this out. I am fully prepared to think it's great... but it needs to function! I've written directly to the developer with system details.
I hope I'll get a response that gets me going. I have 5-star hopes judging by feature descriptions and screen shots.

1) при создании 4 холста выскакивает сообщение, что разрешено только 10 холстов в бесплатной версии!!

2) не существует создание вашей учетной записи! Просто нет поля зарегистрироваться или создать!
А если и как-то автоматически это происходит при установке, то вы не сможете войти учетку! Выдает постоянно «ОШИБКА ВХОДА. СЕТЕВОЕ СОЕДИНЕНИЕ ПОТЕРЯНО»
3) стабильны только клюки в этой программе)))то холст уменьшил и больше не приближается, то карточки залипают, то еще что-то приключится (всех глюков не упомнишь, но они стабильны рпи каждой работе)
К) про отсутствие перевода меню, просто молчу. Видимо заменили это видео о том, как функции работают.

Something has broken it
Used to love this app, until recently. Now when I am on a text card and add a new one to the right or left using the arrows it automatically moves all cards connected to the original card, removing any vertical spsce i had between them. No way to prevent this happening and it ruins layouts. Extremely frustrating as ive been a long time subscriber and makes it pretty much unusable unless its fixed.

アイディアノートとしての機能はかなり優れていますが、バグが発生する頻度が高すぎてその都度再起動が必要になります。
機能確認のために数分触った程度で複数のバグが発生しているので、このクオリティで年間4,000円は高い...。
ただ、備えている機能は本当に理想的なのでバグさえなければ全然お金を払えるアプリです。
●iMacで使用して以下のバグを確認しています
※いずれもアプリの再起動で解消
・ズームツールのタブが表示されない
・追加したテキストボックスを再編集できない
