This is the most informative radio talk show anywhere. I've been listening to the radio talk shows for 40 years used to listen to Rush Limbaugh and other bombastic individuals and got dumber as a result. People who listen to Thom Hartmann no more than any other audience in the country including NPR listeners.

Please, no more AI music!
The content is masterful. The delivery is great. The callers are smart. But I can hardly stand to listen anymore because the AI songs disrupt the flow of conversation so much. I’m constantly having to tell Siri to advance
One minute for another 30 seconds etc. The songs are not special; they have become annoying. I will give back the 5 star rating when the podcast offers the songs stacked up at the end for people who actually enjoy these AI creations

Glitches
The app constantly glitching some days. I cannot listen to the podcast until after 3 PM Pacific time some days I can’t listen at all because it just immediately starts fast forwarding and within 30 seconds the entire show is over and it starts again. That is what’s happening today the first hour just keeps blinking. Cannot listen at all the second and third hour after the music Tom talks for 30 seconds and then it restarts back to the music It’s very frustrating not being able to use the app or a membership that I subscribed for. I try to listen every day some days I cannot listen at all like today.

The app beeps non-stop while trying to listen to the show and when paused beeps louder.
Buggy
Past 2 updates have been very buggy. Play / pause audio stream does not function from iOS control center.
New app issue
If I take my airpods out, the live podcast still plays rather than pausing.
No back button!
The new iOS version is better, on one hand, on my iPad because it is now able to be used in landscape but, and this is a BIG problem, there is no back button! I have to close and restart the app for every episode. Please fix this.
Back navigation button still missing
The back button, which used to be in the upper left corner of the screen when listening to a particular downloaded podcast episode, is still missing in the current version. As it is now, if you click on a podcast episode, you can download the episode but you can’t get back to the list of podcast episodes to download another. You now have to close the app and reopen it to get to the list of podcast episodes for download. Please restore this feature. It’s a pain to use the app without it.

New version still not ok
The quick release of the latest version did not help. The audio stops playback when the phone Lock Screen appears. The back button that was previously available after clicking on a particular podcast episode to download is gone, so it’s now a dead end: if you click on an episode and download it, all you can do is listen to that episode. To get to another, you have to close and reopen the app. Please fix these issues. The app was working fine until this week.

Turns off when phone sleeps.
This app worked fine until about a week ago now, as soon as the phone goes to sleep, the audio stops. I reinstalled the app and that did not help. No other apps do this on my iPhone 8.
New app is worse
The new version of this app is unusable. While listening to the live show, you cannot navigate to another app because the audio will stop playing. Also when your phone locks, the audio will stop playing. The old app didn’t have these problems. Please fix because who is going to use this app if you cannot play the audio in the background.

App won’t play in background
Latest release prevents the app from playing in the background. So unless you touch your screen every 20 seconds to keep your screen up and waste your battery, the app will go silent. This pretty much makes it useless.
No longer useable
Audio only plays while app is on screen. If you go to the home screen, another app, or your phone auto-locks, the audio stops playing. This makes it pretty much useless.

App is a piece of junk! I used to have to start it twice to listen to Thom, but now it does not work at all!
Somethings wrong.
I’ve tried the last 3 days to listen to the podcast. It doesn’t populate. Today I un- then re-installed the app. Note the app tells me to purchase ANOTHER subscription. Please fix.
Informative and helpful
This is a favorite podcast of mine, for several reasons. While there are other podcasts that will give you the headlines, I learn things here that aren’t always covered on the others. I also appreciate Thom’s delivery and voice, he has a very soothing quality that makes these turbulent times a bit easier to digest. I appreciate his passion as well.

I Hate the Update!
The new version is unstable and the audio fails unpredictably. The old version had a “News” button which contained a beautiful list of links to all the articles referenced on the show for the previous day and also a preview of the topics/guests on the current day’s program. That button has been eliminated.
