Great
Have tried many apps and found this is the best CBT diary that’s closest to worksheets I used in therapy. I wanted a true thought challenging diary that is not complicated by other things and is simple.
Few things missing
I’ve been using this app for years and I find it helpful but:
- It doesn’t tell the year the thought was logged
- it doesn’t save drafts, so you have to do the whole exercise in one sitting without anyone calling you etc - very frustrating

Great app but email function doesn’t work
Simple and straightforward, a good alternative to carrying paper around. My only complaint is that the email function doesn’t work for me and the developer seems to no longer support this product.
Expensive but good
This is a simple app, probably not worth £4.99. However, it works well and fits nicely with anyone who is currently working through CBT. My only criticism, you should be able to include multiple “thinking errors” as you’ll probably experience many emotions/moods which may align to many thought errors.

Very helpful for me in applying CBT to my thoughts
I found this app via another program I was doing to assist my anxious state and often negative & untrue thinking when I was in that state.
Whilst I have not used it frequently I can say the intention behind it and the guidance it gives the user was very helpful.
I recommend it to anyone who is finding they get “stuck” in thinking patterns which are not helpful and maybe potentially harmful.

so far so good
It seems very intuitive and does help figure our where my thinking is a little off base. As a matter of fact, I just thought of another thought to log….I read a book about 15 years ago by David Burns called Feeling good that I think was the precursor to the entire CBT movement. I may be wrong, but I do see this app as being a worth while try for anyone. It certainly can’t hurt.

Rip off
It's way too expensive for what it does. It's just a way to log your thoughts, literally just answering a few questions. I don't really understand the price to be honest.
Great app
I am really pleased with this app. I have been using it for about a year now and I find it really helps. It makes me take time to think about things and has in occasions definitely helped the situation.
Lacks multiple thinking error option
Need to be able to select multiple thinking errors. It's very important to be able to apply multiple thinking error option for a given situation. If not it gets rather general and not a complete picture.
Simple and effective
A really great app. Will definitely be recommending it to my CBT therapist.
Useless.
Utter dreck. CBT that totally lacks follow through. No response thoughts.
Really very good
I was having huge difficulty doing thought records on paper, to the extent that I basically never got round to doing them. Not anymore!!! The app is brilliant - it sets out everything very clearly and because it's on my phone I can use it whenever and no one ever notices - this was not the case when I was using a pen and paper.

The most helpful app I have used!
Dealing with anxiety and PTSD. 3 members of my family were murdered. Hard to handle all the feelings especially when I was using negative thinking. When I start to feel anxious, afraid, sad etc... Get out Thought Diary. Just by going through process in Diary, helps me stop negative thinking pattern and come up with a better one. Best of all......I can email my Diary to my therapist. Thank you so much for making this available.

Exceptional CBT app
Clean, simple, easy to use. Not cluttered with excess useless features like a lot if mental health apps. Everything you need for CBT and nothing more. Really like the email report option but would be nice to be able to view this summary in the app.
Perfect for people who have social anxiety
Can't believe how useful this app is! It's a great easy way to track thoughts and turn negative ones into positive ones. The great thing about using this app to track thoughts instead of using pen and paper is that you can log your thought there and then in the situation you are in without anyone knowing what you are doing! I will certainly be recommending this app to my non profit london based social anxiety group (thebeatingsocialanxietytogethergroup.co.uk) I think this app will help me and many other people. Thanks and well done for creating such a cool useful app!

Best CBT app
This looks to be the best CBT app on the App Store now. I was previously using iCBT but found the look too cluttered and not particularly attractive.
My favorite feature is that the reports look exactly like the paper ones that my therapist asks me to fill in. It's not practical to carry these sheets everywhere I go and there's the fear that I'll misplace a filled in sheet and have my innermost thoughts revealed to people I know. The result is that I never fill out the CBT sheets even though I find them helpful
This app solves this problem. I always have my iPhone with me so if I ever need to do a CBT exercise, I can do it right away and then when I see my therapist I can email them my "sheets".
As for suggestions:
- iPhone 5 support: This app could really benefit from the full 4" screen
- Multitasking: allow you to exit the app and come back to where you were.
- Enable viewing data reports in the app without having to email them. An important part of CBT is to look at a completed report and review where our thoughts went wrong.
- A better entry process: It would be more efficient if you could enter each column step by step instead of going down the list, entering a section, goin back to the list, entering another section and so far. Instead you'd press New Report and then go screen by screen entering information for each step then reach the end with your completed report.

Unique. Rapidly log thoughts
I use this app all the time as its quick to use and has all the necessary categories of options. I love the email interface so that you can transfer to PC.
It has also had some great updates since I've started using it.
One criticism is that types of distorted thoughts appear to be a bit muddled and poorly explained. Refer to Feeling Good by David Burns please!

TOTALLY AWESOME...BUT...
Okay, this is a really awesome app. Especially for someone like me that has racing destructive thoughts but then can never really remember what they are because they are so second nature. It is extremely easy to use. I also like the spread sheet that it compiles and you can email it to whomever or to yourself. I just have two small gripes:
1. It wont sync across my iPhone and iPad. I have connected them via USB to computer and tried it that way, I have also tried it over wi-fi and it still has the bulk of my thought information on my iPad and not a single entry on my iPhone. It would be nice if they could make the apps sync since my phone is always with me but sometimes my iPad is just more convienant to use.
2: I would like to be able to see my whole single entry after Ive inputed it instead of having to compile a spreadsheet report. I just want to see what Ive inputed via the tick boxes in a simple flowing paragraph so I can check for spelling errors and such as typing on an iAnything is not always accurate.
Add those two capabilities and Id give it five stars.

Well executed
Not only does this app allow you to record your thoughts in a comprehensive and detailed manner, it allows the user to challenge their thoughts and realise the error in their thinking styles. The pin is also a nice feature.
