No proof of process
I understood going in that finding the right match could take time. What frustrated me was the lack of anything tangible showing that meaningful progress was actually being made. I received frequent notifications encouraging me to read articles or speak with a coach, but very little concrete information about the actual matchmaking work I had signed up for.
When I asked directly what had been happening behind the scenes, I was told that there had been some “close matches” that were set aside because they were not perfectly aligned. I asked to see or move forward with those potential matches because I am flexible and adaptable, but was told no. I was also unable to get much specific data about how many people had been considered, how far anyone had progressed in the process, or what the search activity actually looked like beyond repeated assurances that they were working hard.
Ultimately, I reached the point where I could not maintain confidence in a process that seemed to rely primarily on promises rather than visible results or meaningful transparency.
For me, the service felt much more active around coaching content and engagement notifications than around actual matchmaking. I eventually closed my account because I could no longer justify continuing to wait without clearer evidence that the process was producing anything.
