What's New in Thrive

2026.8.1

August 25, 2026

Zero-based budgeting that never asks for a bank login. Same mission - AN ANNUAL PLAN, 32% BELOW MONTHLY Thrive Premium is now $65 a year alongside the $8 a month. Same modules either way, and the zero-based budget itself stays free permanently — not a trial. YOUR SAFETY NET KEEPS GROWING AFTER YOU REACH IT The emergency fund chart flattened at your target. A fully funded net looked like it had stopped earning, and the "what if you saved more" slider did nothing at all. The line now keeps climbing on interest once you're there — because at that point the question stops being "when am I funded?" and starts being "how big is the cushion?" BIG PURCHASES NO LONGER ASKS FOR A FUND YOU ALREADY FILLED Your emergency fund could read fully funded on its own screen while Big Purchases still told you to finish it first. Two screens were reading two different numbers: one counted the contributions you had assigned but no statement had confirmed, the other didn't. They agree now, and your target is whatever you set — there is no three-month rule underneath it. RETIREMENT, COLLEGE AND THE HOUSE RUN TOGETHER Clearing debt and filling the emergency fund really are one at a time. The three that follow are not — they run for decades and they are funded from the same surplus. Once the first two are done, the dashboard shows all three, names the ones that are behind in priority order, and says so plainly when every one of them is on track. A BUDGET LINE THAT TELLS YOU WHAT IT SHOULD BE Adding a category used to be a row of name chips and an empty amount box. Now every category in the group is listed with what you have actually been spending there over three months, and you can take that figure or type your own. Creating your own category is its own button, and giving follows the Giving group rather than a checkbox on any line. Your statements never leave your device. No bank logins, no servers, nothing collected. Be faithful with what you've been given.
