Not That Great!

This is probably the worst app in my phone. It frequently has trouble finding my hearing aids. I have to reboot my phone and hearing aids to get it to connect. I usually have to make adjustments by using the iPhone’s settings app. It’s not a great app.

Ok

Untested, not even beta software

Refused to recognise Starkey Omega hearing aids. Deleted.

Horrible App

I am so frustrated! With all the amazing apps out there, this one is terrible and I’m stick with it!!!! The Audiologist has too much control and has to do everything from their own computer. I can’t even edit a custom sound. I want it labeled Tinnitus and it says Normal 2. Also there is no way to monitor the batteries. My hearing aids are Starsky…. This is what I have to use. Thrive is awful!!!!

No longer works

The first year I had my hearing aids the app worked great for me both on my galaxy phone and my iPad. However 18 months ago, I kept losing connection on my phone and finally gave up. Then the last year only one of them would connect on the iPad. I just tried to reconnect and it said I would need to unpair the working one. Now neither one will pair.

iPhone 16

This app does not work with an iPhone 16. Very disappointing. I can’t update firmware until app recognises hearing aids are connected. Frustrating experience over all. Not a happy user.

un thrive able

if this ap were for lifesaving I'd be dead long ago
it works about 1/8 of the time
tech support is on speed-dial

Starkey could/should do much better

Starkey app

The starkey app refuses to link to my hearing aids. This happens to me very often. It will work for a while then not sync. It stinks.

Currently use

I have evolv AI 1200 rechargeable RIC hearing aids but firmware hasn’t updated with them in 2-3 years the app won’t transcribe anything for me. And it won’t find what’s going on with my hearing aids currently

Thrive

I’d like to see an update for the thrive app

Doesn’t seem to work at all on iPad

I have been using this app on Android, where it is quite flaky, i.e. it crashes repeatedly and will take minutes to register the right channel, and I am having other problems with that device, so I have installed the app on my iPad as a backup, but it just won’t detect my hearing aids at all.

Shyt app

Don’t want it can’t remove

Piss poor

Bluetooth is nothing but static and doesn’t even recognize my hearing aids most of the time. I dunno how much these app developers get paid but it’s too much. I did try impairing and pairing it again. Did absolutely nothing and I'm
Not surprised. Now the app just tells me I need to close and reopen it for “functionality” reasons. App is straight up garbage and avoid it if you can.

Interferes with other Bluetooth functions

Thrive on my iPhone, even if it's not open, keeps Apple Pay from working, and having thrive hearing aids listed in iPhone Accessibility also blocks audio from Emergency Dispatch and from navigation apps including Google. I searched for a resolution online and first AI recommendation was to permanently remove Thrive from my iPhone. Now I just have to figure out how to program my hearing aids so I can adjust the volume with the two buttons on each one. After fighting with this problem for several years I have come to hate the Thrive app and Starkey hearing aids, which are at best, very expensive mediocre hearing aids.

Hard to connect to this app.

My hearing aids instantly connect to my iPhone. I then have to wait 3 to 7 seconds, twice, to connect this app. Unacceptable!

Not good

I spent £3000 on my Starkey’s hearing aids. The app freezes regularly I have never had a day without problems. My connection to me aids drops off daily one or both aids . I don’t wear them anymore the frustration is too much , weekly visits to my hearing centre is too much . Never again

App keeps getting worse

I’ve been using this app for several years and its function and stability has gotten worse over time.

Currently, the app take about a minute to recognize both hearing aids.

Almost any function I use in the app: mute/unmute, equalizer, sound level, causes the app to crash.

Update

Can not update. It does not recognize my hearing aids

No funciona bien iPhone

No se que pasa cuando me abre la aplicación automáticamente me la cierra y no alcanzo hacer nada en la aplicación, e tenido Android y nunca tuve ese problema ahora que no funciona la app en iPhone
