Spotty Performance
Half the time I open the app to use it, it freezes after logging in on the loading page and I cannot access anything in the app, so I have to repeatedly close and reopen and log in until it finally works. Sometimes even after 5 tries it still doesn’t work, and I just have to hope I can afford what I’m trying to buy since I can’t check how much money I have.

Moved the Log Off icon. Why?
I have the newest version (2025.02.02.3) and for some reason the UX folks thought it would be an improvement to move the Log Off icon under the “More” page. It isn’t. I can’t log off from the Accounts page anymore. Please fix this.
Travel Notice
It is strange to me how Thrivent can cancel my card that has not been reported stolen Because I am traveling. This is completely unacceptable since I give them the privilege of holding my money. That does not dictate them being able to tell me that I am required to let them know what country would stop what layover that I’m going to have in order to conduct my employment. This is unacceptable therefore I’m going to close my account.

Mobile deposit is a pain
Great company, most of the app runs really well. The mobile deposit however will not accept the back of personal check without having to retake the picture 20-30 times. Even though the signature is visible and the picture is good, you cannot override the error message even though things are correct. If there was an override button it would be a fantastic app

I’ve never set foot in a physical Thrivent Credit Union so everything I do is through the app. It’s very straightforward and easy to use. I’ve used other major nationwide bank apps and this one is just as good, if not better! Great to know how well Thrivent invests in their technology.
Best Mobile Banking App
I just happen to have used few mobile banking apps and this is by far the most user friendly. However, that doesn’t mean it’s a limited function app. This is a very robust app and gives the most detailed and accurate account info of any that I’ve used. It’s truly the BEST!
