Was not provided a match at the event. Was told I would get a refund but that never happened. Would be willing to try again if they provide refund they promised over a month ago but until then 1 start
4x more men than women
Good idea, poor execution. Two main problems: A- When they sell tickets, they only aim to sell as many as possible rather than aiming for a balanced gender ratio. I went to two events in Los Angeles and both were skewed with tons of dudes lingering around and few women to talk to. B- The age brackets are not reasonable. Itβs only 21-35 or 35+. A 40-year-old man is a better match for a 30 year old woman than a 50 year old woman.

Expensive for not enough thought
I recently attended a book club - I had to pay Β£15 just to attend, and that didnβt even include a free drink at the bar. Thursdayβs competitors charge a lot less, give you more for what you pay AND even curate the attendees so that you are matched with people who are more likely to align with you. The bookstore was nice but I just think whatβs being charged is a bit much!

Title of this review says enough. The singles events are not worth attending. 40 men & 5 women (who were all quick to leave, as the vibe was just plain uncomfortable).
