Constantly freezes and crashes, resulting in lost game data. Very frustrating
Long-Awaited Update Breaks Core Gameplay
After a 9-year wait for updates, this 2025 release is deeply disappointing. Game sessions expire every time the app is closed โ when you exit and reopen, the active game is completely gone. The app also repeatedly asks to add a username, even when one was already set.
Offline play, which used to work in previous versions, is no longer possible at all. On top of that, the app is unstable: frequent crashes, unresponsive buttons, and basic navigation issues make it frustrating to use.
Overall, this feels far below expectations for such a long-awaited update and seriously impacts the core experience of playing Tichu

Best Tichu game!
Iโve had this app for a long time, and been thru many updates. The current version is great! The double-tap to select is a good way to learn about the possibilities of what you can play. I like the flexibility of positioning the play button on the screen. The art is great, and you can choose an aesthetic that works for you.
