I miss a few things from the old version, however seeing a nice update like this is really great

Constantly freezes and crashes, resulting in lost game data. Very frustrating
Long-Awaited Update Breaks Core Gameplay
After a 9-year wait for updates, this 2025 release is deeply disappointing. Game sessions expire every time the app is closed — when you exit and reopen, the active game is completely gone. The app also repeatedly asks to add a username, even when one was already set.
Offline play, which used to work in previous versions, is no longer possible at all. On top of that, the app is unstable: frequent crashes, unresponsive buttons, and basic navigation issues make it frustrating to use.
Overall, this feels far below expectations for such a long-awaited update and seriously impacts the core experience of playing Tichu

Best Tichu game!
I’ve had this app for a long time, and been thru many updates. The current version is great! The double-tap to select is a good way to learn about the possibilities of what you can play. I like the flexibility of positioning the play button on the screen. The art is great, and you can choose an aesthetic that works for you.

It was so much cleaner and easier to play before. I am deeply regretting updating it.

Figuring out the player ranking methodology
I’m enjoying the updates but trying to figure out how the rankings work- I will win a game but my ranking drops by 4 points. Or sometimes it increases by 20 points? It would be a great addition to add some info in the online help section. Thanks
Terrible update
I’m over 50 & have been playing this game for years. It was my favorite game. Last week I opened and played as normal. Last night I opened it and it looks totally different, my names I had for the 3 “computer players” have changed as well as all my settings and I can’t change them back. Also, the cards are so small I can’t clearly see the numbers. Please change the game back, or I’ll have to sadly delete the app forever.

New version - new bugs
Ok. So the new AI has learned how to better play bombs. That’s making it more realistic. But I also just witnessed a MAJOR bug. AI opponent played a pair of 6s. I overplayed a Jack and the phoenix, opponent overplayed THREE QUEENS?? That cleared them of a bare Q liability. Needs debugging.

Okay the first iteration of the rewrite was not great. This version 049 has fixes for all that. Author heard the feedback and responded. The AI player is challenging.

Nach den ersten Updates für die neue Version ist diese nun sehen gut gelungen. Toll, dass Feedback gehört wird und umgesetzt.

I appreciate your feedback. Please visit the FAQ for information about the state of the game and where you can go to make suggestions for improvement. I'm working on new updates that should help a bit with usability on small screens. In the mean time you might want to try playing the game in landscape mode and see if that doesn't make life a little nicer for you.
This is a major downgrade
Rarely do I call out something this awful. This new overhaul of the game has literally downgraded itself to a C grade high school project
(Update) I really tried to like this new version but this really feel like someone dropped the ball and didn’t do proper UI/UX homework. I lost my interest in this app. Should at least make the old UI a ‘classic’ theme people can choose to play with

Update Wrecked It
The latest update reworked everything. It’s now slow buggy with a horrible user interface.
Meh
UI needs help. The line of text across the cards is annoying. Could move cards above the text. All stats from previous version are gone. Play is okay. Game play is okay doesn’t feel improved.
Update makes it unplayable
I have been a die hard Tichu fan for years. I have played thousands of hours on the old version of the app with the only issue being that Bluetooth multiplayer stopped working a couple of years ago. I played this app
Almost daily. However the new version has made me abandon this app completely. The UI is significantly worse and less practical for the player, has has glitches more than the old version ever did. Also all my years of statistics were wiped. PLEASE PLEASE REVERT

App Crashes
The Tichu game crashes immediately upon opening the app. Can you look into it and fix it? I love playing this game.
Why was the app changed?
This used to be one of my favorite games and apps. However, it was recently changed and it’s horrible. Go back to the d version…. Please!
