Cool at first
It was really good at first but it crashed a few days ago. It was down for several hours and when it came back up my HiFi subscription was gone and ALL of my music and playlists were completely wiped out, it looked as if it was my first time on the app, i was very upset because there was years of playlists and memories that are just gone. For some dumb reason I decided to buy back into the hifi subscription thinking it wouldn’t happen again and I start building a new playlist and 40 songs in, when I try to go back into the app to listen to music it won’t even load just a black screen! It’s sad that I gotta switch to Apple Music or Spotify now. UPDATE years later kept the app for some stupid reason and built my playlists back up… they all got WIPED AGAIN, deleting my playlists right before a price increase is a perfect way to get me to leave this app

Sound is great but I cant even listen to a full song without it crashing 6-7 times and that’s becoming An issue
BRING BACK A PERMANENT BAR AT BOTTOM
Bring back the permanent bar at the bottom for searching and navigating. I don't like that I have to swipe up just to get it to appear and cause me constant frustration make it permanent again at the bottom you have plenty of real estate.
Causes phone to overheat and burn through battery
New iPhone 17 Pro Max, using Tidal causes phone to overheat and burn through battery very quickly (up to 20% in an hour), even when playing from downloads (haven't tested if this is an issue with Bluetooth as I don't have a 3.5mm adapter for phone). Makes app almost unusable.

Full of bugs
Switched from Spotify to Tidal because it was cheaper and I liked the idea of hifi sound. The app is mostly fine, but it’s sometimes so buggy. Pauses randomly, plays the wrong song, queue skips randomly, and as of today it won’t show any of my playlists. I am contemplating going back to Spotify.
Kinda glitchy
Overall nice app, subscription is on the more expensive side compared to others. Wish it had podcasts! Somewhat glitchy. For example, if I pause my tracks, after a while it goes back like 5-10 songs so I have to skip to the latest song to continue listening. I also want the ability to be able to go to a whole album in CarPlay from a song. Getting used to the switch from Spotify.

Tidal is very good. I have tried apps like Spotify and Apple and they don’t even come close to being as good as tidal.(in my opinion.) the way there are different sections that you can easily clic on at the bottom of the screen is so handy, and there are so many songs to chose from. It is also very easy to search things up, and make playlists. 10/10, but there are only five stars, so…you know…

Doesn’t work well
The app doesn’t work well on my tv or phone. Songs don’t play on the tv.
Swamped
Really annoying that profiles with the same name aren’t separates. Artists/bands with the same name have all their releases lumped together instead of separate profiles.
Always crashing, skipping, pausing and freezing
Came to Tidal to find an alternative to Spotify and it’s been a rough go with Tidal. If the app isn’t crashing, it’s randomly pausing songs, starting them over, or the whole app freezes. Extremely frustrating.

Love it, but see opportunities
I’ve used Tidal since 2014 and I love it! I love the interface and that it supports some of my favorite artists directly.
I am frustrated that the family sharing subscription doesn’t work. I still am unable to listen to music on two devices at the same time, and the support team was not able to help. I’ve cancelled and renewed it several times, and it doesn’t work.
I would love if the app shared how many times I’ve streamed something. I’m glad it incorporated its version of “Wrapped” and would love to see this develop.

Wayy to glitchy and buffers wayyy too much.
Always glitching and buffering in the middle of my songs. I have to delete and reinstall to get music to play correctly
