Auto Play Stopped working
Auto play has stopped working. Before if an album ended, it would continue playing music in the same genre but now it just stops. And I can’t go and search a new song while driving. Has been very frustrating
Bug problems
Every now and then only 1/3 of my songs load and it takes hours/days to fully come back. Restarting the app and my phone doesn’t help. I pay too much to be having issues like this.
Frustrating Playback issues
The biggest issue with this app is whenever i switch back to this app from the home screen or other apps it sometimes has to load the song for some reason, not letting me instantly resume the song. something i’ve never experienced with Spotify
Can’t use unless you pay!
Now, I was excited to use this app. But I soon discovered that it’s not available to people who can’t afford to pay to listen to music. It only shows 30 second previews to non-paying users. …Sorry, but I’m sticking to spotify. Good that Tidal pays artists more, but as a listener it’s not good unless you’re willing to pay.

App is super buggy - why do I pay for this?
For the past year, my iOS app hasn’t functioned properly. Whenever I search for an artist or song, the entire app freezes and I have to exit and restart. It’s so annoying. As well, when I’m listening to a song and I want to add it to a playlist, whenever I press the 3 dots on the bottom right, it doesn’t do anything. Why am I paying for this when it can’t function properly with the simplest of tasks? Perhaps Qobuz is better…

Keep It Up
Switched over from Spotify because they are an awful company, and this app is much better overall. Its is incredible for listening on my own, but one thing it is missing is native collaborative playlists and something akin to Spotify’s “jams”. I love streaming music on here so much more, better sound, transparency about AI, and less in-your-face feeling algorithm, but in many of the contexts I utilize a streaming service in as opposed to spinning a record, it is nice to have extra features like the ones I mentioned.

Definitely the best UI of any music app along with amazing quality in sound, plus the price is right!
Bad AI tagging
Incorrectly tagged my music as AI. Filed an appeal and will update depending on how long that takes/its results. Meanwhile actual AI tracks are untagged while their algorithm defames human creators
No AI slop for me
Love that Tidal is allowing users to opt out of listening to AI generated music.
Better algorithm
Since you’re raising prices, is the money going towards a better app so the algorithm suggests more music besides the same 20 songs in “My Mix” playlists everyday? The other apps have no issues with mixing things up, so the option is there. Please choose to use it.

Asks you to write a review every time you open the app and has more connectivity issues than Spotify
Good sound quality, not the best service
I have been using Tidal for a while since I wanted to move away from Spotify. The sound quality is fantastic! My biggest complaint is that every so often all of my music disappears. I have also downloaded tracks anticipating not having service and the app won’t let me go into offline mode to listen to them.

Annoying to use sometimes
Custom playlist covers aren’t updated on their downloaded counterparts. Starting a song randomly in the playlist limits the queue to from that song onward, which affects shuffling and playlist repeat functions.
Cannot download
The download function does not work properly. It takes forever - and the app needs to be open on it - but even then it doesn’t download properly. Or, it will randomly undownload playlists, only to find out on public transport or when boarding a plane for 4 hours (which is unbelievably frustrating)!
Thus gas annoyed me to the point that I will find a different music carrier, why am I i ok acting nearly £20 for this service?!

Erm there needs to be a collaboration option for playlists ON the app if your gonna compete with Spotify and that’s really the only thing that is bad about it the rest is good
Bad song recommendation and no iPhone support
I used to like this app a lot ~4 years ago before they removed Sony Headphones support for 360 and change it for a Dolby Atmos which is not supported in iPhone. Horrible app overall for iPhone users.
Also, if I play one song I expect the app to know similar songs based on their knowledge of previous plays and that song itself. If the app is allowed to use cookies and don’t use them to improve user experience it is a literal steel.
