Thoughtless
The combination of the thoughtless user base with toothless moderation is too much. Almost as bad as Twitter or IG.
My TikTok is gone and I can’t download the new version
I was trying to download the new version of my TikTok and update it and when I did my TikTok begin to crash and couldn’t do anything TikTok what are you going to do to us that uses old iPhone with 15.iOS please I need my TikTok back even if it’s to download the old version back
too many ads
as of june and now i have been getting ads after every tiktok. And its not all just sponsored ads, its people posting their tiktoks and putting it as add and it is really annoying for me to watch tiktok when a video not in my algorithm is in it. Tiktok please fix this.

the amount of lag that i have from this app is insane. I can barely click on a message without it completely lagging or lagging and then not being able to show me any photos that i get sent after.

The search function has become completely useless and keeps showing irrelevant content

I hate TikTok it posted my story twice instead of once and making an embarrassment as this has happen a few times. (I don’t really hate it.

Ever Changing Algorithm
Sometimes my algorithm is great. Most of the time it’s straight trash that seems to promote videos that I’m actively reporting as “not interested”. This seems built in. A study of the human psyche. I have uninstalled this for the same reasons as I did Facebook. It’s not trying to be a good product. It’s trying to figure out how to manipulate you.

It band me for no reason and It gave me no warnings
Account Appeal
So I’m scrolling on tiktok, right? All of a sudden.. I get a message saying my account is going to be deleted NEXT MONTH!! Why? Because apparently I’m not over 13, which, I AM. I tried to appeal, but it didn’t let me! I wasn’t able to appeal via taking a picture of my face or a picture of my ID. Please see this and do something about this, I don’t want my account deleted!!!
