Horrible

Never shows accurate account balance. One it’s shows the right the balance then when you transfer or spend the fun tickets it still shows same balance. Log in again then it shows the balance difference. Check again it shows the previous balance

Check deposit

Never works

New update sucks

New update does not allow for access to multiple accounts as prior. Prior you could select the account then it would go to the PIN input. Now it only goes to a PIN input and you can’t select the accounts. Needs a new update to fix ASAP!

Not User Friendly

Have tried multiple times to get the online checking working and have not yet been successful!

I think the ability to check your account information on your phone, tablet or computer.

its a nice app for online banking but it glitches or has lots of problems, ive recently been trying to do online wire transfers and it keeps asking for my password and when i put it in, it doesnt do anything, lately its been asking for my password whenever i do that but prior it never did ask me for my password. its always had some sort of issue for me. besides that its always been a decent mobile banking app.

The check deposit feature with the app needs improving. Apparently you need to write out “mobile deposit for Timberland Bank” on each check. No where does it say this in the app and there is no notification when your checks are rejected. I’ve used two other mobile banking apps and they don’t require this. If they do, they should make it very clear in the deposit flow. Not user friendly as I have had to contact them through the messaging multiple times. And now have gotten rid of the physical check because I thought I got it the third time but it didn’t say “Timberland Bank” on it.

Avoid check deposits

Constantly getting my checks put in hold for 5 days, the absolute worst when it comes to handling customer funds! Been a custom for 18 years and they still haven’t improved!

App is broken for iPhone versions 7 and prior

If you have an iPhone version 7 or prior, the app will repeatedly generate non-sensical messages telling you that you must reinstall the app. I called Timberland Bank technical support and was told it was "Apple's fault" and that I should instead use the web based app on my iPhone. After further discussion with a 2nd person I was told that an external software vendor made a decision to not support any IOS versions prior to 15, which is the max version supported by iPhone 7. That explanation implied that iPhones v 7 have a security risk and are too dangerous to use. That almost sounds like a plausible excuse until you consider that the the web based version does run on iPhone 7, and an authenticator app for Timberland does generate valid codes for logging in on iPhone 7. In Timberland's way of thinking, iPhones version 7 are too dangerous to run their app, but it is safe for using their web based application.

In summary, if you want a functional banking app and have an older version of the iPhone, you will have to pick a different bank.

Rejected deposit!!!

The first time in 40 years my deposit using remote deposit has been rejected. Really!?!?! Save yourself some time and use the drive-up. Online banking is helpful, remote deposit is lame.

Small town. Local. Friendly. Helpful.

The people at my local branch in Toledo go out of the way to be helpful. The people on the other end of the phone call to the main office are the same.

The only thing that I would like is a way to link my account directly to Venmo.

Ridiculous.

This app shows money in my account when there is none, so I end up accidentally overspending.

On line banking

Your on line banking is a horror story. I have two iPads I use, one will allow me into my account the other one will not. Keep rejecting my attempts to get in. Yesterday a box came up saying it was time to renew my password? Why would that be. You have nothing about remote deposits needing your bank name on it, but you do so you reject the first deposit because that has not been done.
But most of all I would like to get into my account from more then thi iPad because this one is overloaded but the app for your bank will not allow that to happen. Not the first time I have had problems with your online apps
