No backgrounding, low signal level
The signal level is too low, even with maxed out volume and no negative gain in the settings. BMPCC4k refuses to lock on.
Also will not run in the background. My use cases for this included having the phone mounted on camera as a teleprompter with time code generated on the same phone. I’d have to run this separately on a second iOS device to do what I need here.

MIDI timecode is only Full Frame
For whatever reason, they chose to implement only the Full Frame MTC messages, rather than sending Quarter Frame messages. This might explain why some hardware doesn’t work with it — if that hardware is expecting Quarter Frame messages it won’t work.

Utile pour des captations multicaméras, fonctionne parfaitement sur les caméras BlackMagic Pocket et Studio 4K.
Seul défaut que je donnerai, le timecode de l’app s’arrête dès que l’on met l’appareil en veille donc impossible de l’utiliser pour des caméras ou des enregistreur ne disposant pas de timecode interne sur de longues durée (Écran allumé = faible autonomie).
L’app aurait été un 10/10 surtout au vu du prix des concurrents.

Does Not Work With ProTools. No Tech Support
This app looks great. The interface is simple and easy to understand. The routing of MIDI, audio and Artnet all very straight forward, execpt Uh-0h! ProTools doesn't see MTC on either IAC or ipMIDI. Normally this would not be a problem as a quick email to tech support ususally resolves such issues, however despite repeated attempts to reach out to tech support, I've heard nothing. It's a pitty, because I'd love to use this app, but I think I'm going to be looking for a refund. If I can get a response!
