Losing Streak
For as long as I’ve been using this app, there may have been maybe one or two glitches that caused me to lose my streak. When was Moore recently liking in the past few months? I emailed you guys were able to put it back with no problem then you come out with whatever it is update is. and make it to where there is no streak unless you pay for or unless you have some paid version of the app that’s completely ridiculous and because that I’ll be deleting it. Can pay or charge for some other type of features or something but the whole point at least for me was to look back over my pictures over the years and continue to revisit those memories and keep my straight. Yeah you can add all of these different things to it that could be behind a paywall, but the whole point was the streak and looking back this is horrible.

Embrace the memories
I have been using this App for over five years. I love it. I love looking back each day on things that happened last year or 18 years ago. It keeps memories fresh rather than forgotten. We don’t pull out photo albums often. But I get this everyday and it’s better. And the trivia is really interesting too.

Deteriorated app
Great concept but app is now almost unusable! Keeping fingers crossed someone else develops something similar that actually works! This is now too painful!

I’m part of the “9 year club” meaning I’ve opened this app everyday for 9 years 🤪 I love reliving my past, reminiscing about what I was doing, seeing how big my kids were, smiling over vacation memories and seen how far I’ve come!! Thankful to be able to easily check in relive my past everyday.

So I love that Timehop now gives you the option of deleting a photo like if you accidentally have a screenshot of a bill or something that you don’t want in your photos when it comes up on Timehop, you can delete it from your photo library from Timehop, which is freaking awesome love it love it love it

Bold Choices…
I have a 9+ year streak on Timehop and the recent changes are about to bring an end to that. For an app that has been made unnecessary with social media features, it’s a wild move to add a paywall to remove ads. The fact that I have to wait to tap through my own memories is ridiculous. At this point, the app only shows me my own photos. I can do that just by searching the date in my camera roll, so there’s really no point anymore. I may be done because of this last update. It’s been fun…

8/26 Update - the newest update SUCKS! Now it takes forever to load pictures. Now I just scroll through and see loading circles, making the app useless. Didn’t have this issue with older versions. Please fix!

I enjoy this app but the new update is annoying. Please stop prompting me to link my “Swarm” account. I don’t have one, I don’t want one and I definitely don’t want to see the little notification on the top left corner saying “Missing memories? Fix it!” every time I open the app!

Ads have made this cumbersome
The delay added to swipe past ads (requiring multiple swipes) has made this so cumbersome I rarely look at more than a few pictures. And the cost to go premium is too high to justify. I was an early adopter but may just give up.
