Almost what I needed
Response from developer
Thank you so much for this β you're not looking in the wrong place, it genuinely isn't there yet, and you're right that it should be. Seeing elapsed time, not just time remaining, is the piece I was missing. I'm building an analog clock-face style now: your set time drawn on a dial, with the time you've already used staying visible instead of just vanishing. I looked at 360 Thinking after reading your review and I understand exactly what you meant. It'll come in a free update. I'll reply here again when it ships. Thank you for taking the time to explain it so clearly β this is the most useful feedback I've received. It shipped! Version 2.1.0 adds a new "Clock" style - exactly what you described. Your set time is drawn on an analog 60-minute dial, and as time passes, the elapsed portion stays visible in a lighter shade while the remaining time stays bold. You can finally see how much time has passed, not just what's left. Find it in Settings > Timer style > Clock. Thank you for describing so clearly what was missing - this feature exists because of your review. Update - version 2.5.0, 20 August 2026: It shipped again. The Clock style now carries progress marks, so the analog face shows the shape of your session as well as the time you have used. Divide a 30-minute block at 8 and 16 minutes, give each part its own shade, and the part you are in is visible at a glance. Marks had been on the bar and ring since 2.2 - the clock was missing exactly that half. Since your review I have read everything I could find about the 360 Thinking Time Tracker. The piece I have not built yet is the one I suspect you were really asking for: a dial that is a real clock, where the hands show the actual time of day and your task is drawn onto it, so the finish becomes "when the big hand reaches the 6" rather than a number counting down. It is next on my list, and I would rather get it right than get it out quickly. If you would like to help shape it, support@defrust.com reaches me directly. Two features of this app now exist because of one honest three-star review. Thank you for writing it. ---------------------------- 2.6 (August 2026): Settings now open with just the essentials - one switch at the top reveals everything when you want it. The finish alert now vibrates even with its sound switched off, and your finish message appears above the overtime counter.
