Good but hard on my phone
I like the game but I’ve never seen a game so hard on my phone before. My phone gets very hot while playing and drains my battery very quickly. Wondering if performance can be improved because it definitely deters me from playing more.

fun game but badly designed for iphone
i’ve been really enjoying the game, but unfortunately it causes my phone to overheat and chews through the battery. this doesn’t happen with any other apps.
My favourite game!
Been playing this since it released and this game has everything I could have asked for, delightful graphics, no pressure or time limits, interesting characters and a wonderful easy paced storyline. It’s brilliant for my buzzing ADHD brain and my anxiety, giving me something low demand to focus on and delivering true enjoyment! Honestly, it’s making me want to open a book trailer shop! I absolutely love it. Credit to the creators for the immense amount of research they must have done into all the books! Perfect pace, beautiful graphics, excellent gameplay for people who want to escape the stress of their fast paced lives! Please keep going with it!

Hidden pay wall
I got this game for free back when it just came out and I loved it played it for hours. No where did it say I had to pay to keep playing. A few days later I log back in to keep playing and it won’t let me as I had to apparently now pay to keep playing. I was truly devastated as I spent hours on this and found it a bit odd that no where when I got the game did it say I had to pay to keep playing.

Cozy
This is a very stimulating game. If you are interested in literature, look no further. The price is well worth the excitement of the game and the privacy of the consumers, as the developers do not collect any data from the app(which is rare). I’ve added many book titles to my to-read-list because of this game. Definitely my favorite guilty(not so guilty) pleasure in a long time. As long as there are continuous updates, I’m very happy to keep playing.

Je trouve ça super d’avoir un essai gratuit plutôt que de devoir directement payer un jeu qui peut ne pas nous plaire. Le jeu est payant sur tous les appareils (switch, xbox, steam), ce serait injuste qu’il soit gratuit sur iPad/iPhone vis à vis des autres joueurs sur les autres plateformes. J’hésite beaucoup à acheter le jeu mais j’ai peur qu’il soit redondant (d’où l’étoile en moins)

Calm & cozy game
Loving this very charming and sweet bookshop game. Beautiful animation and artwork. It does make my phone a bit hot at times. Slow, bit repetitive (not necessarily a bad thing) but I love being able to recommend books. An expansion of that feature would be enjoyable.

Genuinely Wonderful Game - A Touch Buggy
Wonderful game, I own it on steam already but wanted to be able to play on the go. That said.... two main notes for this version:
1. Y'all are hurting your own game sales by making it "free" with an in-app purchase for the full game. No matter how much you clarify it, it's going to be misleading - you'd be better off making it full price to begin with. You should also synchronize the prices, considering it's the full game on every platform.
2. Events aren't showing up in the paper after the first incidence. I've played on PC and know the schedule, but for newcomers, that's going to be an immediate turnoff to getting deeper into the game.

Wirklich tolles Game, aber…
… nicht fürs Handy geeignet! Der Akku glüht bereits nach wenigen Minuten und innerhalb von 20min sind 10% Akkufüllung auch, im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes, geschmolzen.
Ansonsten ist zu dem Spiel seit letztem Jahr alles gesagt:
Ausgezeichnete, liebevolle, neue Idee und Umsetzung! Macht mir riesigen Spaß, meinem Handy bekommt es leider nicht!
NACHTRAG: Habe den Tipp der Entwickler umgesetzt und die Grafik-Leistung reduziert - verändert die hübsche Grafik nicht spürbar, aber schont das Handy mehr. Daher +1*
P.S. Ich hoffe jetzt allerdings, dass die Warnungen über den abrupten Abbruch der Story ab dem Buchladen NICHT eintreffen werden…

Thank you for your feedback! I'm sorry to hear that, you can try to go to Settings → Graphics → Framerate and reduce the frame rate. This will improve battery life and reduce heat.

Nowadays mobile gaming has been reduced to mindless micro-transactions and repetitive gameplay, so Tiny Bookshop is definitely a breath of fresh air in this scene. For just $10, you can support indie developers and run a cute little bookshop! 10/10 recommend!

As someone who loves spending time at book fairs and collecting beautiful hardcover books, I absolutely fell in love with Tiny Bookshop! It is a truly successful game that perfectly captures the simulation and story genres. The attention to fine detail is amazing, and the developers have successfully delivered everything a game like this needs. I've only played up to Day 3 so far, but I loved it so much that I'm definitely buying the full version to keep playing. I know it's a new release, but I'm certain it will become a huge hit and gain the value it deserves. You have my full, heartfelt support.

I absolutely loved this game, it was cosy, free , and just so nice, I was about to give a 5 star review on how good the game is but now it wants me to BUY the game. Like I thought that genuine devs were left BECAUSE of THIS game like you guys seriously broke my hearts

I got so addicted. I ended up playing it in two days. It’s so cute and fun and interesting to meet all the characters around town. I wish I didn’t end. It had more people to talk to or different tasks to do because that was the best part. I still play it. I still have some tasks to do even though Talia gave me her bookshop. This is a great game. I hope people will make more games like this.

fun game!
Just from seeing the ratings on the app store, I thought this game wouldn’t be very fun, but after playing I really enjoyed it and I think it’s a unique idea for a game! After reading a lot of the reviews, it looks like most of the bad ones are complaining about the“Play before you pay” aspect. I’ve downloaded so many games like this for years, so I was shocked to see everyone apparently ganging up on this game for it.😧 Personally, I enjoy being able to play a trial of a paid game, so I can decide if I want to purchase it or not and $7.99 doesn’t feel like a bad price.

Well worth the price, cozy and fun!
This is basically me living out my fantasy of having a bookstore in this very cozy and wholesome game! I’d compare it to animal crossing or pokemon pokopia so it’s well worth the $8, and I can play it offline so I can play during my daily commute! The story is really cute, the characters are wholesome, the graphics are fun and cozy, and I love the fact that it has real books and their summaries and I can recommend books to customers that I’ve actually read in real life! Love it ❤️

This is one of the few gems that prove paying for a game is worth every cent versus watching an ad every minute for a free game that someone slapped together in a day with a “pay to win” mindset.
This is one of my favorite games that I’ve found in a long time and I’m mostly a PC/Console player, not mobile. But this? This is absolutely adorable and just a wonderful way to relax and chill out. There’s so much more I could say but this is just an absolutely incredible game.

$7.99 is worth it
This game popped up on the feature page and I thought it looked so cute. So I downloaded it bc it was free. However you have to pay $7.99 which I didn’t think was horrible so I paid for it. This game is sooo fun if you love books and are looking for a relaxing but stimulating game. You can customize your shop and there are different goals you can achieve. It’s honestly worth it and probably one of the most recent apps that’s worth playing.
