High Quality ASL Interpreters - Love it!
Love Tive! The ASL interpreters are high-quality and super easy to understand. Having both VRS and VRI in one app is such a convenient bonus. Make communicating so simple!

This app gives me the ability to make VRS ANDDD VRI calls!! It has this champ Mix page and only for deaf people. It’s so amazing! It’s a must to get app!
Review app
App is easy to use for anyone and this is an excellent app for all mobile devices to provide top quality ASL interpretation for deaf and hard of hearing users.. I strongly recommend to use this app.
Getting better but…still not a fit for me
While using Tive VRS, I often got the same interpreters who remembered me from previous calls and they often said “Good to see you again". I reciprocated when they did. Unfortunately I ultimately ported out due to long wait times for interpreters when I was calling someone or someone else was calling me. Plus, on the social feed there’s an awful lot of religious proselytizing. Many DHH people complain about hearing, non-signing scammers utilizing Tive’s social feed. I would answer them by sending a video of me signing, and when they admitted they don’t understand, I reported them.
So, integrating a social feed, video relay service and video remote interpreting into a single app is a unique, interesting experiment, but I have needs that simply cannot be fulfilled by Tive. For example, I often have little need to call numbers. My newly chosen VRS company is the only one to offer multi-platform videoconferencing integration. Now that my mental health program has switched away from Zoom, there’s only ONE VRS company who integrates with non-Zoom platforms like Teams that they now use.
It sure was a NIGHTMARE porting my number outta Tive, but I finally got it done, and deleted my account.

Scam?
Ordered my daughter’s FluMist nasal spray and when it arrived, the package said to download this app. Seems pointless. Why do I need this app?

Unreliable app but very pleasant interpreters
I can’t even dial into Zoom for my local mental health program without getting hung up on. My emails are rarely answered. I often get the same interpreters who remember me from previous calls and they often say “Good to see you again”. I reciprocate when they do.

It’s not free. There should give free for 15 min then buy add.. but all not free at all.

Very Useful and Fun App
This app has everything you need! Social, interacting, careers, news, on demand video interpretation and much more! I have not experienced and all inclusive app like this yet and I love it!
