The N5 articles I’ve read so far are all super short, so not overwhelming even though I’m not a great Japanese reader yet. I love that there is a feature for me to practice translating and that it is so easy to look up the words directly in the app and review them later as flash cards.
I work with a tutor and normally we just talk about what we did over the last week. I’m looking forward to being able to talk about something a little more varied like current events :)

In the meantime, you might want to check out Todaii Super, another app from our team — it supports learning Japanese with German as the base language. Regarding the writing systems: Hiragana and Katakana are already available in the Lesson tab.
