Predatory Lender who tries to skirt state laws and uses illegal intimidation tactics
I had received a loan from this company for a small amount, they put half of it into a separate account, my cosigners, and then put the other half later and told the cosigner they had to transfer the money to my account.
That’s a shady practice already. But after trying to pay on it for a year, the monthly payments barely went to the principal. Say if you got a $5000 (not my sum) loan and you paid on it for a year and the principal is only down to $4700 even though you were paying say $185- $200 a month, that doesn’t add up unless they are using hidden fees and hidden interest charges.
At that time, they were calling themselves transform credit, but for some reason they had to change their name. They tried to spin it as a PR friendly term but when you research it, you find out that it was related to copyright restrictions and they also do that to hide their previous reputation or come after people under a different label just to throw them off and confuse them.
If you live in a state that has a strong consumer protection system, and you feel like these people are intimidating you and trying to make you scared by hitting your credit or threatening legal action. Immediately go to your banks fraud department, immediately remove their access to your bank through your ACH payments. Do not give this company any more money and get a finance attorney if you can.
If not, they will have to go through a judge in your state to try and reclaim that money and most states with a protection system and interest caps will see that they have illegally loaned money and will dismiss the case altogether. They may try to send a fake garnishment order to your local clerk of courts, but a good clerk will see that and realize that it doesn’t match state law and dismiss it. If not, you are still able to contest it.
The only reason these companies are active now is because of certain political actions done by a certain president on a federal level that makes them feel empowered to act that way. Know that you still have rights within your state and you will have protections in the future, even if the current temperature does not seem like it.
Remember that they have to comply with federal AND state laws to operate. They have been barred from operating in 12 states across the nation already. They will tell you that because they are a lender from a different state they can follow that states laws, but that is not true. If they’re lending in your state, they are required to follow your state laws.
Do not allow them to use any type of scare tactics any type of threats of legal action or anything when you’re not behind on your payment. These people are just one step away from being an Indian scam call center who just tried to rip off ignorant or ill informed Americans.
Stay safe.

Need co-signer
If I knew someone with awesome credit who could co-sign for this, I’d just ask them to borrow me the money. Misleading.
I do not recommend
Loan was taken out in my name. Someone had access to my phone could be a family member or a coworker. And took out a loan, pay it back and everything, but it was completely without my knowledge. The only way I discovered this is I get a five dollar charge on my bank account. It is almost impossible to get a hold of anybody at Together Loans. I’ve left messages. I’ve returned emails. And I did some Google searches. I downloaded the app. They had my information in the app when I close out the app next time I try to use it said the app had an upgrade did the upgrade and I can no longer. Get in the app.

The Worst Loan I have ever had!
Worst choice in getting a loan I’ve ever had! Takes forever to pay off because the amount of interest you have to pay towards the loan plus trying to find somebody to help you get your loan paid off or make a payment is impossible. There’s no way to get in touch with anybody except for leaving a voicemail which they never called you. This is a rip off to the fullest extent. Do not get along with these people.

Read the fine print. Understand what you’re signing, don’t be shocked. You either agree or don’t agree. Transform credit now together loans helped me out when no one else would. Yea it took some time to pay it back but the monthly payments didn’t break my bank. It forced me to be smarter and realize I needed to manage money better. Just paid it off and it’s done wonders for my credit. Thank you together loans team. To whomever really needs this, I hope it helps you get back on your feet. May god be with you.

Horrible app/website
“Lines are open 8am-8pm CT Monday through Friday” but you call them and they make you leave a voicemail and never answer. All I need is to change a phone number. Why can’t I do it in the app or on the website? Ridiculous.
Only writing a view because
The amount of people leaving bad reviews is insane. We are literally informed about the high interest rates in the beginning process of applying for the loan. Yes, the interest rate is high and yes, we are paying them an enormous amount back as it’s being taken from our monthly payment portion. It’s to help build credit but also take into consideration they are taking a HUGE risk in each individual they are helping with these loans. Maybe take this as a learning experience that we just need to be more responsible and respectful and that it helps build financial responsibility and build experience. I don’t know, I just don’t understand the negative views when EVERYTHING is transparent from the get go. If you’re mad about paying even more than you borrowed you shouldn’t have taken one out in the first place. Everything we do is a learning experience from our own actions. Hope everyone has a blessed day and life! Thank you togetherloans for helping me when I needed it 2 years ago and thank you for helping me build my credit in the process. Truly grateful! 💕

Horrible customer service and business practices
Do not under any circumstances use this company! They are out to just take your money and then add more onto your debt even more with their interest rates!!! I have great credit and cosigned, they are the most horrible, inconsiderate, irrational, and also don’t have a way to contact them for customer service.
So that means they are not willing to offer any customer services. Take heed!! From an experienced customer.

This is company is awful
This company has zero live customer service after you take a loan from them. I have tried talking to someone for days and it only lets you leave a voicemail or email but no one ever gets back to you.
Super aggressive messaging
Abrasive and aggressive messaging for no reason at all. Always threatening court in every message they send out. Truly a comic book-esque evil company. Would not recommend.
Outrageous
Every payment that I have ever made has been early even if it was just one day it has been early yet I am still being charged interest at an enormous rate. I even paid one month early to see what the difference would be as far as interest, and it is actually almost the exact same they will charge you interest regardless of if you pay early or not I would not suggest this company for anyone not even a starter loans.. you can ask for your payment to go towards the principal amount and they will not do it. They may tell you that yes they are applying it to the principal amount but they’re not 75% of the money paid goes towards interest, and it extends the amount of the loan which causes you to pay back more money almost 3 times the amount that you borrow.

Communication
Is there anyway you can speak to a human, I have almost as much extra cash as my loan payoff, but I can not get them to apply it to remaining balance. So the interest keeps building and building
Scam
This app is a scam; it's all a lie and they steal $5 a month from you.
I guess I’m just rewriting the narrative here…
Im a Gulf War Army Veteran who I received a loan from this company after needing to rebuild from Breast Cancer Chemo treatments and new therapy bills. They were quick to respond and fund the loan but when it was time for repayment they billed on dates they chose and not days we agreed to. We are Military so the first of the month was the day I AGREEED TO and they accepted. So why on the 26th are they taking money out of our account?!? On top of that, when I took a ACH payment off of the account (an account we are no longer using), they just took it out of my husband’s account. There was no permission given to do so. They were supposed to allow me to pay on the first and if there was a problem THEN they would bill him. So my advice is to STAY AWAY! Learn from my mistake!!! Please stay away… they will definitely get you! I’m so ashamed!

Responsible adults only
I normally do not leave reviews but the influx of people complaining about aggressive communication to late payments or lack of a grace period. People need to understand that this company is ONLY to be used as a LAST RESORT. They are a business that is in the business of staying in business. A grace period is not a requirement by a company when they give out loans. Y’all should be thankful that they even approved you for whatever emergency funding that was needed. Their high interest rate while unfavorable, is understandable and within legality. I gave them a five star review because the process for approval was quick. Funding was quick; within 12 hours. These types of loans should ALWAYS be prioritized to be paid first and quickly, to avoid the interest. Be an adult and pay your loan, and hopefully be more responsible in the future. Your welcome.

Don’t do it
Don’t do it i swear you will regret it you can’t talk to anyone EVER! It’s all through message if you have a new loan you can’t change your payment date I wouldn’t have got a loan from them if I knew what I do now!
