Hard paywall, have to pay to use it, i paid and the results sound nothing close to the guitar tones I wanted.
Cool app but paywall
Can’t do anything unless you either pay for subscription or try the free trial. I tried getting the tone for one song and it was nowhere near as good as when I adjusted my own tone on Amplitube or using fender Fuse software for my Mustang II amp. Better off using other softwares or modeling amps.
Good learning experience too
I like that it explains the original signal chain before adapting it. Seeing which amp and pedals were used helps me understand tone building better, even when translating it to my modest setup.
Nice for classic rock fans
I’m into 70s rock and always chase those crunchy tones. Choosing a song shows the original amp and effects, then adapts it to my modern gear. It feels like having a starting recipe to follow.
Works well with tube amps
I have a small tube combo that reacts strongly to gain changes. After choosing a blues rock song, it suggested lower preamp gain and higher master volume. That small shift really changed the feel.
