Very useful tool
Very useful tooi. I am a radio ham and can use it to test audio filters in my equipment.it also shows how my own hearing has changed with age.
Good sine wave tool
Good simple tone oscillator, can double as a tuning source for musical instruments. A4 = 440. Presets can be created for stringed instruments.

best one i could find, simple and does exactly what it needs to and has the ability to go much louder than the others. but can you make it go below 20 hz? like down to 5 or something?

It would be great if you can do up to 10 tones playing all at the same time but it’s only subpar
Slide Control Only
Being able to choose frequencies with a keyboard would be much more user-friendly than a slider. In cases where small adjustments in frequency are required, and the exact frequency is not known beforehand, '+' and '-' buttons would come in handy.
Update: The developer instructed me to upgrade the app, which happened automatically when I opened it. When the app is opened, a frequency is displayed on what is actually a field for entering a frequency number, but which looks like a button-shaped display. Not the most intuitive choice. I would have gone with something that spelled that out, say, "Enter frequency.".

limited listening ability
I love this app for the ability to choose the exact Hz frequency you want. I hate, & will be deleting the app after this, bc I want the frequency to remain playing in the background when I’m using other apps, such as watching a YouTube video. I want the frequency playing quietly in the background of whatever other audio I’m listening to.

Simple and Effective
To experience and evaluate my hearing this app is helpful. I have professional audiograms made by audiologist. Looking at the audiogram alone does not provide a physical sense of what my hearing loss sounds like across frequencies. Using the app I can hear what my ears are capable of across frequencies.
