It’s back!

I’m so thrilled to have ToonPaint back again. Being able to work with high resolution images absolutely makes this app relevant again.

The interface is simple and direct and the results are stunning.

For those not wanting to use AI this is a fantastic option.

SO excited to have access to a new version of ToonPAINT! As a long-time fan, I am thrilled to see ToonPAINT back and better than ever! This isn't just another basic filter app; it is a creative tool rebuilt for the modern era .

What sets this app apart is the "No AI" approach. Everytime I run the algorithm, I get the same output, not just a random image that distorts faces making them unrecognizable. I am in the director's chair with control over the Precision Ink Engine. I love being able to fine-tune the Edge Length (from XS to XL) and Coherence to get the perfect line art before adding color.
The Hand-Painted capabilities are where it allows your own creativity to shine. For times where I just want a quick output, I like that it autocomputes the color layers; I found that I like to use these as a guide for the painting mode.

** UPDATE: Legacy users can use ToonPAINT again, update to 3.00.03. Users will get access to ToonPAINT for their photos. ** Dearest User, More than 15 years ago we put this app up on the store. Apple has changed the language that the apps are built in, and eventually, this required us to completely rebuild the app to be able to put it back on the store. They have shut down all of the other apps, too. In order to support an app that has been around for that long, requiring a complete rebuild, we are looking at an app subscription model instead. With this model, we can keep up with bugs and add new features. We are about to release the ability to process video. We urge you to try the new app However, we have heard you, Insatiable Geniuses.... we have enabled ToonPAINT for photos for legacy users.

Time for an update.

Need to be updated badly. I loved this app in the past, but it needs to put out higher resolution photos.
