Sweet app!
Finally a proper solution for CartoTracks maps! I love the new features when connecting with my CartoTracks account. The best one? All of my maps in the app when I get here! Simple tap to download right in the app and voila, my map I subscribed to. This is so much better than their old app. Looking forward to using it out in the places that I go. Topo Maps+ for the win!

I’ve been using this app for several years, utilizing it mostly for hunting and fishing locations. I’ve been impressed by all the improvements they keep making and how well the information is delivered and explained. I’ve upgraded over the years and am very satisfied with all of the upgrades.
Love this app
I’ve used a few maps apps and I’ve found this one the be the best. I’ve used it on backpacking trips and local hikes. My favorite part so far is the clear map image with my location easily loading with downloaded maps in the backcountry. Super easy to use and super easy to customize.
GIS nerdling paradise (but hell on earth if you're a battery)
This is the kind of app that needs its own dedicated device. It needs all of your RAM and all of your processor, and all of your battery- but it's so customizable and feature rich it's indispensable for those who really get off the grid. It takes some getting used to the process flow and how to get it to show you what you want; but once you learn how to upload ArcGIS shape files, it's game over for any other off-road mapping app (every state has their own selection of map data you can import and overlay- like abandoned mines or trout-stocked rivers and lakes). My only advice to the developers is that they have a "Lite" toggle that turns off everything that kills the battery- maybe select a certain offline map area and set of features that stays in the cache/memory, and disable everything else, because you really can't hike or explore with this thing offline and expect your battery to last until you get back. It's such a great app, I love it with my whole heart, but please fix the battery tax- I need to hike with this thing with no power source, and it's impossible (your own icon shows a person hiking but you can't hike with this app without a massive solar array or a gang of battery packs)!

Fantastic and reasonably priced!
I’ve used this app both on my iPad for planning, and on my phone in real time on multi day hikes. It’s kept me from being lost a dozen times!

Yesterday’s update with the much improved Glacier Hybrid Topo, has been long hoped for by me. I have been using Topo+ Elite for years here in BC travelling Forest Service Roads to the best fishing and backcountry camping. Thus far the best feature for me has been integration of Back Roads Map Book, however I had found the topographical detail underwhelming and had subscribed to Gaia for an app to app comparison. I found the cartography on Gaia to be superior notwithstanding errors found therein. Then Gaia dropped ESRI satellite imagery and I dropped Gaia sticking with a less than perfect Topo+. Now the very readable cartography in Glacier has arrived. Great colour scheme and overlays excellent high resolution imagery. Great work thanks.

Bonjour , je ne suis pas content de votre application et c’est pour cela que je n’ai pas renouvelé mon abonnement, votre cartographie a des soucis pour zoomer ou dézoomer alors que j’avais plusieurs traces et points GPS qui m’étaient personnels, il a fallu que je supprime mon compte et tout perdre pour mettre de nouveaux points GPS . Donc pour moi il est inutile de payer quelque chose qui ne fonctionne pas, je suis très déçu.

Nice updates
They’ve made some good updates that have dramatically improved the user interface. I have always believed they are the gold standard for hikers’ mapping, and these updates have improved the experience.
A multi-map tool
Great maps to chose from. Works nicely on Apple Watch. The app on phone drains my battery and it activates itself and consumes the Dynamic Island at all times because it uses location. I have logged a support case and have not had a response for over a month. I’m at the point of deleting it and I have canceled my subscription to the app.

I got this app and it was absolutely amazing! You should get this app, it’s so amazing, and it’s fun!
Used to be a good affordable app
This use to be the best app for hunting. Over the last several years they’ve went up so much on the subscription to get the usable features, that it’s just not worth it. They are better apps now that you can get that doesn’t cost $80 for a subscription.

I like the software so far and it allows me to look at property lines unfortunately the price for it for 90 days is $45 it’s too pricey you need to have some more tiered price arrangement in a lot for pro features with perhaps a yearly subscription
Best for Serious Outdoor Use
Unlike the popular hiking apps that serve city folk with curated routes and guidenook interfaces, Topo Maps+ is for serious outdoor use offline. This app takes map and compass to the next level. Have used offline across the High Sierra, on several high altitude alpine climbs, and during 2 European excursions. Worth every penny.

Bien au premier abord mais des limitations sévères
Au début l'app semble vraiment bien, beaucoup de fonctionnalités.
Allant en Bolivie j'ai voulu télécharger les cartes offline du sud de la Bolivie (le Sud Lipez). J'ai pris l'abonnement (un prix monstrueux : 70€ !!!) et les problèmes ont commencé :
- Une zone téléchargeable ne fait que 75 Mo max. A la taille au-dessus c'est "too huge" , non téléchargeable. Vu la taille de la région à explorer (très étendue et désertique donc sans réseau) , j'ai compté qu'il me fallait faire dans les 60 téléchargements !!
- J'ai quand même commencé à faire mes téléchargements mais au bout de peut-être 20 ou 30 téléchargements , j'ai eu le message "plus de téléchargement possible", j'avais atteint le max !!
Il y a quand même un nombre incalculabe d'applis qui sont capables de télécharger bien plus, des Go sans problème.
De plus :
- le fondateur envoie des newsletter avec une régularité métronomique et sa lettre finit toujours par : "As always, just reply to this email with any question, comments, or suggestions. We will personally respond to each email"
J'ai envoyé 3 mails, chacun à 1 semaine d'intervalle.
Je n'ai jamais reçu la moindre réponse.
Bref une appli à éviter. Extrêmement chère , ne tient pas du tout ses promesses et un fondateur qui se fiche de ses clients.

My Favorite App!
I backpack and peak climb in the Sierras a lot, and this app is perfect for what I need. I use it both on my iPhone and Apple Watch. It has so many great features. Too many to list. Compared it with OnX Backcountry, and this app is much better.
