Kickstarter Backer for Elite and doesnt work on iPad
Response from developer
Hi there, Thank you for your support as an Elite Edition backer. We truly appreciate your trust in TourBox. To give you some transparent background on our product development: TourBox Elite Architecture: The Elite model was engineered specifically as an ultra-responsive controller for desktop operating systems (macOS & Windows). Mobile Ecosystem Requirements: Delivering a seamless, native editing experience on iPadOS required a completely rebuilt hardware architecture and a dedicated mobile software system. To maintain long-term ecosystem updates, we unified these tablet-specific features into our specialized flagship model, the TourBox Elite Plus. Regarding your feedback about iPad compatibility and upgrade options—we’d really like to look into your specific situation and see what we can do. Could you please send us your order details or backer information via email at support@tourboxtech.com? We look forward to hearing from you there.

Once we receive this information, we will prioritize your case to get your iPad workflow back to normal immediately!

P.s. please make mouse/trackpad support. That’s all I need at this point right now. Thanks 😊
Terrible compared to PC
Response from developer
We sincerely apologize for the frustration. We hear your concerns and would like to provide some clarity on the technical challenges we are working to overcome. Preset Syncing: Due to iPadOS system limitations, preset file formats differ from those on PC, which currently prevents direct cross-platform synchronization. To address this, we launched the in-app Preset Center, allowing users to browse and download iPad-specific presets shared by the community. Feature Availability (TourMenu & Others): The absence of features like TourMenu on iPad is due to system-level restrictions that prevent the same depth of integration possible on macOS and Windows. This also affects the immediate deployment of recent updates like Dynamic Panels, HoverAdjust, and Dynamic Color Picker to the iPad platform. That said, we are continuously enhancing the iPad experience by expanding our library of built-in presets and broadening compatibility across more creative apps. Meanwhile, we are actively exploring alternative technical approaches to bring our most advanced features to iPadOS.
Great for Procreate but missing a few things
Response from developer
Unfortunately some tools like smudge is not supported on shortcut by Procreate. So we can't assign it on TourBox right now. However, we are actively working on any potential solution and reaching out to Procreate for more solution. There is a workaround for smudge tool: Procreate - Setting - Prefs - Gesture controls - Smudge - □ + Apple Pencil Now you could assign and hold the Opt key for Smudge tool.
Doesn’t work with TourBox Lite on iPad
Response from developer
We’re truly sorry for the misunderstanding and inconvenience this has caused you. To clarify, the TourBox Lite Bluetooth version is explicitly listed as compatible only with Mac and PC devices on our product page. The only model that supports iPad functionality is the TourBox Elite Plus. We’ve taken your feedback about unclear product communication to heart, and we’ll be passing this along to our team for improvements to prevent similar issues for other customers down the line. Thank you for your support and understanding. If you need help with the return process, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team directly.
Great for my uses
no feature to import presets, simple revolutionary button. Should’ve been first update
Response from developer
Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding the preset import process on the iPad. Here is the step-by-step process to import a preset file into the TourBox Console app on iPadOS: Locate the Preset File: Open the Files app on your iPad and navigate to the location where your .tbx preset file is saved (e.g., Downloads folder, iCloud Drive). Select and Share: Tap and hold the .tbx file to select it, then tap the Share option (the square icon with the upward arrow). Open in TourBox Console: In the list of apps that appears, select TourBox Console to open the file. The TourBox Console app will then automatically recognize the file format and import the preset into your library. We hope this helps clarify how you can import your presets immediately. We will continue to evaluate ways to make this process even more intuitive in future updates!
Clip Studio Paint
I don’t know what the issue is or if I’m missing something but I hope it gets fixed in a future update.

Hello, this is TourBox Tech. Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. Regarding the issue you mentioned, we recommend trying the following troubleshooting steps: 1. Check the keyboard type. Open iPad Settings > General > Keyboard > Hardware Keyboard > Keyboard Type. Confirm whether the keyboard type for TourBox Elite Plus is set to ANSI. If not, please change it to ANSI, then reconnect the device to the iPad. 2. Turn off "AssistiveTouch" and "Show Onscreen Keyboard" and restart the iPad. (1) Open iPad Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch, and turn it off. (2) Scroll down, locate "Show Onscreen Keyboard," and turn it off. (3) Restart the iPad. 3. Verify whether the Clip Studio Paint shortcuts match TourBox's output. Check the TourBox output characters in the Notes app or Clip Studio Paint's shortcut settings. If the issue persists after these steps, please go to TourBox Console, click the Settings icon in the top-left corner, select Help & Feedback, export the logs, and send them to us via the contact methods below. If possible, please record a video demonstrating the issue and share it with us to help us analyze and resolve the problem more accurately. Feel free to contact our technical support team anytime—we’ll do our best to assist you. Contact Email: support@tourboxtech.com Once again, we deeply apologize for the inconvenience. We are committed to continuously improving your user experience. Thank you for your understanding and support!

DaVinci Resolve preset not available
Response from developer
Hello, thank you for your feedback. 1. The preset for DaVinci Resolve will be released in version 1.6.0. In the meantime, you can click the "CMD + OPT + K" key to view all the shortcut reference in DaVinci Resolve and customize it on TourBox. 2. The TourBox Console for iPadOS also supports preset export and import now. For any preset, simply select "Share" and choose "TourBox Console" to import the preset. You can download presets shared by others for the iPadOS version from our official website and import them. Additionally, you can check out tutorials on importing presets on our YouTube as well.

Work in Progress
Still, I got it to work for me but it just takes a lot of time to get it to where you want it to go. Definitely not plug and play for Davinci Resolve for iPad yet. Looking forward to further enhancements!
Response from developer
Thank you very much for your feedback! 1. For the iPad DaVinci Resolve preset, we will bring it up to our schedule and soon it will be available 2. Import and export presets are available on the latest version! 3. Due to the limitations of iPadOS, the development of macro functions is a lot difficult. We are actively working on any potential solution. Any feedback and suggestion will be appreciated!
It’s almost there
Response from developer
Thank you for your feedback. Since Procreate doesn't support the shortcut for canvas pan, we can't assign it on TourBox right now. However, we are actively working on any potential solution and reaching out to Procreate for more solution.
