Wrong book?

Why does my app say 2025 when I ordered 2026?

Once again…great Alaska travel savings

By just using one coupon, I’m saving $380 on my flight to Alaska. Thanks TourSaver.

Be aware buyers

please pay attention to this Alaska Tour Saver Coupon Book. The descriptions on their website are very vague and general. Many important details and fine print are not listed. In reality, for many of the hosting programs, the coupon only covers one or two specific options.

There are only two ways to figure out what you’re actually getting. First, you can spend hours calling each host to confirm exactly which programs accept the coupon. Second, you can just buy the coupon book and try it yourself. Otherwise, there’s no way to really know what you’ve purchased.

Unfortunately, I chose the second option. I bought the digital book clicked to redeem a coupon for Alaska Airlines and tried to book it online. But I found that all the available flights that I can use the coupon all arrived around midnight — which didn’t work for me. So I decided not to use the coupon. But by then, it was too late — once you click “redeem,” you’re locked in. There’s no way to get a refund for the coupon book, even if you never used any of it.

I think that’s unfair. It’s like falling into a trap. You can’t find out what you’re actually buying until after you’ve paid, but by the time you figure it out, you can’t get your money back — even if you didn’t use anything. Don’t expect talk to any real people over the phone. They only respond by email. You got one denial email and no more responses at all. Feel free to purchase if you are ok with it.

Excellent Customer Service

I was unable to access the coupons on the app. I reached out to the customer support via email and had a response within 10 minutes and when the issue was corrected, I received a follow up email from them. This impressed me greatly as this occurred on a Sunday morning. Thanks!

Great values and awesome travel guide

This book helped me plan my trip and save a bunch of money. Thank you.

FAQ

What does the TourSaver Alaska app do?

The app provides digital coupons for various attractions, tours, and hotels across Alaska, similar to a traditional coupon book. It helps travelers save money on their trips by offering discounts and 2-for-1 deals on popular activities.

How do I use the coupons in the app?

When a tour vendor asks for a coupon, you will press the 'Redeem Now' button within the app. It's important to only press this button when prompted by the vendor on-site in Alaska, as it activates the coupon for redemption. Some vendors may request a screenshot of the redeemed coupon.

How much does the app cost?

The Alaska TourSaver App itself is free to download. However, users must purchase one of the three available coupon packages: Statewide, Southcentral/Interior, or Inside Passage, to access the savings.

What kind of savings can I expect?

The total value of savings varies by package. The Statewide package offers over $15,000 in savings, Southcentral/Interior offers over $13,000, and the Inside Passage package offers over $2,500. These savings often include discounts on flights, glacier cruises, wildlife viewing, and more.

Do I need to make reservations separately?

Yes, you still need to call and make reservations with tour vendors separately. The app's coupons are used for on-site check-in and payment, not for booking reservations. Always wait for the vendor to prompt you before pressing 'Redeem Now'.
