Useful App
I think this is a very useful app. I like how you can constantly check on the status and amount of data being sent through your local network. I rent a cascading setup and I use this device as a separate private network for IT devices and very important machines that own. It’s also great how it forms into like a mini mesh network. This app takes all the complication out of it. Having to switch back-and-forth from different management pages . With this app all of the devices are manageable from one place . The main device as well as the satellite devices I’ll be honest before I got this set up I wasn’t really knowledgeable on me network I had heard of them, but I really didn’t know what they actually did. This app and this equipment has basically given me a crash course on Mesh networks. I see how they operate and how convenient they can be in a home with noticeable dead zones. Especially if you have devices that are outdoors and may be some distance away from
The main router. In the mesh network you can easily place a satellite device in between the device in question and the router, and just like magic… Dead zone more. Also, if you have devices that may be vulnerable to attack, you are able to isolate the devices to offer them extra protection from attacks and users with mal intent. Oh and finally, this is one of my favourite features… you are able to prioritise any device on your network that you feel
Needs priority access to bandwidth. Meaning if you have a congested network, if you prioritise the device you need operational the most. Then the app sets it up where that device receives dedicated bandwidth no matter how congested the network may be. It’s a pretty cool feature, and another one of the many reasons I recommend this app, and most of the devices compatible with it.
