Overly complicated to change settings

Overly complicated to change settings, not reliable

Useless

My device WPA4220 not in list of ‘compatible devices’. Sort yourself out TP. It’s your device after all!

Doesn’t Work.

It cannot detect my TP Link devices. Using it on the iPad on WIFI. Tried it on the Mac (M2) as it’s compatible with Mac Silicon, on both WIFI and ethernet connection. Still no detected devices (I have 3 of them).

Trying to work out why, when I’m on a gigabit internet connection, that the EoP units won’t run at more than 80/90mbits/sec, despite having a 1000/100 mbps service.

The cable run between the first/host unit which connects directly into the router and the second one is about 10 metres or 30 feet roughly. There are no fridges, microwaves, pumps or other inductive loads on this circuit.

It’s cheaper to have a cabler run Cat 5E ethernet cabling than to purchase these units. Pity.

Usless

Just can’t access any of the screens shown here just pointless app that does nothing

Disappointing

Brought the base plus 4 others in the hope to get a half decent wi-fi signal in my garage might just as well used a piece of string for the use these are, followed instructions absolutely no idea if they are working or not but no wi-fi in the garage disappointed is an understatement don’t waste your money

Closed loop

Closed loop - sees TP link devices OK but neither are detected by my iPhone 13 wifi search

Rubbish

TP link are a complete con they never work.

Doesn’t Work Due To LAN Permission Issue

Ask for local area network permission and then opens settings, where there is no local network option. I tried to manually enable from local area network settings, but the app isn’t listed??? Useless if I can’t do this - please can this be fixed

Does not connect

Does not connect following instructions, app does not see device.

Does the limited job intended - sometimes

Update April 2025 - has become really hit and miss picking up the power line adapters. Unpredictable if it will find anything, everything or if it will lose them all again. Good hardware but poor app.
It does a reasonable, if uninspiring job of setting up TP-Link powerline units. It does need to refresh quite often and doesn’t respect portrait/landscape changes but overall, it works.

Doesn’t work.

Can’t find my extender network even though it is compatible.

Not compatible

App doesn’t detect any of our 4-5 tplink pl extenders/adapters.

Ignore app

The app is just a continuing blue wheel of death, saved zero

Does not work

About time they got this working . Laptop version is fine, but no updates for years . Shame .

Should be removed from store unless they fix it.

This app doesn’t work at all. My tplink PLC devices are working fine, but this app can never find them.

Doesn’t work

Doesn’t find my 1000 or 1200 powerline devices. I have an older version on my MacBook which does find the powerline stuff. Not convenient using the laptop especially when the powerline device is in a loft & im trying to commission or troubleshoot it.

Device Not supported

The instructions on my AV2000 TL-PA9020P say to download this app. The app says it doesn’t support the TL-PA9020P.

Brilliant work TP-Link.

Works but wireless speeds are poor

The app looks like it works and sees all devices. Unfortunate the speed test results for wireless are very disappointing

Pointless

Just doesn’t work.

No support for latest AV2000 product

Disappointed that there is no support for TL-PA9020P devices.

The Mac app on the TP link website is also not compatible with latest Mac OS. Had to resort to a windows machine to view connection quality. Sad!
