TraceWorld is a personal exploration map for iPhone. As you move through the real world, the app gradually reveals the map around you—like lifting fog from places you have actually visited. Your progress is saved locally on your device. CORE FEATURES • Exploration map — Unveil map areas as you travel. Your explored territory persists on your phone. • Recent track — See your recent path on the map. Customize line color and toggle visibility in Settings. • Auto-recording — Press and hold the center button on the map for about one second to start or stop continuous recording. Ideal for walking, cycling, and driving. • Exploration level — Earn levels based on how much ground you have covered. Tap your level badge to see explored area and progress to the next level. • Map styles — Standard, muted, or satellite views powered by Apple Maps. • Privacy-first — No account required. No ads. No data upload to our servers. Location and exploration data stay on your device. LOCATION PERMISSION TraceWorld needs location access to work: • While Using — Show your position, record exploration, and display your recent track. • Always Allow — Only needed when auto-recording is ON, so recording continues in the background or when the screen is locked without gaps. You control auto-recording at any time. If you do not enable it, background location is not required for basic map use.
