Great trackday app for your data needs!
I’m a club racer who also happens to vlog and publish YouTube videos (a lot). I needed an easy to use, cool looking, comprehensive data overlay for my videos as well as training purposes and TDG provides that! It’s a fairly simple app to use, you can upload your raw GoPro footage from different sources like phone memory or Google Drive, then the data overlay is created and you export the file for use. For motorcyclists you can even see lean angle data! Pretty neat. If you’re looking for an easy way to get a cool data overlay on your videos, definitely give TDG a try!

Brilliant overlay system for videos
Superb app ! Once you upload your videos it finds your lap times, best lap, best sector, sector gains and losses and it’s all in the overlay! And it’s simple to use. Plus the customer service is absolutely superb. They are always happy to help and give you great advice and figure Any problems out straight away. Makes the track days and race days even more exciting seeing the footage it’s a must download app for any motor heads out there, I use it for motorbikes but I’m sure it can be used for car trackdays as well

Awesome Track day tool!
Track day genius is a great app. The videos it produces look really cool and the data you get is really useful for seeing where you can improve your lap times. The support is also really good if required. A must for any Trackday goer!
Absolutely Genius
This app is pure Genius! Namely, the Genius Tips, it’s the number one feature that sold it for me. It’s like having your own personal performance coach in your pocket, it’s better than your usual ‘Compare’ mode that you see in every other app, as you still have to figure out where your Gains & Losses are, boring! And above all, it’s easy to use.

Reliable app. Setup at the begin of the day and leave it plugged to a power source and at the end of the day all will be there. Every single time. Simple to start with quite a lot of info.
Still my favorite most dependable track day app. Suggestion: make it CarPlay compatible (like TrackPrecision from Porsche). Much easier to operate and one can leave the phone in the opposite corner of the windshield.

Great features , truly Genius app
Very intuitive and innovative solution to track day timing and overlay , excellent options and multi cam options

It really does not matter if you are on the track for the first time or a seasoned veteran. Actually, seasoned veteran does not mean you are quick, just means you won't give up... 😜
So if you are novice the app is super cool - you can show friends and family your lean angle at that corner where you are sure you are very close on putting the knee down and show the speed without crashing by looking at the clocks on the straight.
As an intermediate rider you can check your lap times for a fraction of the cost of other lap timers if you add the Dual GPS (about £100).
And if you become a slow veteran (like me) you can actually see where on the track you are doing a good job, where you are not.
And of course for all above if you invest in a GoPro you can get all the info above and great videos....
All in all, not your standard lap timer. No sir. No madam. This is it. TDG is here to stay!

Awesome app that I use with my GoPro seemlessly. Trackdays wouldn’t be the same without it! Proper geek worthy and gives you more data than you’ll ever need and plenty to impress your mates in the pub!
The best app ever!
Man I love this app, it's Genius (pardon the pun) I've never really been interested in chasing lap times, you only crash when you do. But these guys are on a mission to unlock the science of going faster, but doing so safety and deep level understanding. The main benefit for me was the GoPro integration ( I have 3 GoPro HERO5 cameras), it's faultless, simple and above all clever! When you add the google maps to the mix and vehicle telemetry, it's GENIUSSSSSSSSSSS!

Awesome trackday timer
Great performance logger: TDG is more than I expected, it's not just another iPhone Laptimer, there's a lot more to it! There are some genuinely good features that helped me understand my on track metrics - braking/acceleration and improved my riding ability' it's really that good! The recent release added a feature that allows 'File imports' from 3rd Party accessories, since I'm not keen on mounting my iPhone on my bike, I set up the trip recording feature on the Dual XGPS160 (external GPS) after I finish my session, TDG syncs the imported .kml file from the Dual XGPS160 with the track Database, it finds the nearby track and any sector data! I get to see all my laps and sector times, Its a shame I can't upload to the leaderboard, yet! Highly recommended!

Predictive lap timing
Did my first track day at Silverstone GP, amazing track, more so when I used the app, I didn't have an external GPS but TDG managed to work accurately and was surprised when I went into 'stealth mode' and showed my 'predictive times' wow! I wasn't expecting this feature, really impressive and feature packed app. Looking for to the upcoming GoPro integration. Great work team G.

Outstanding app, love the video thumbnail view..
Easily the best data-logger I've ever used, no lie. Its a bit colourful, if that's your thing, you'll love it. I used it while on holiday in France, at the 'Le mans' circuit - a red letter' car track day, despite the 1Hz gps, the trigger accuracy was perfect, more impressive is the sector analysis features, telling me which was the 'best' and 'most improved' sector was the icing on the cake. Thereafter, I didn't mind paying for the session data, its worth the price, its far more than just a lap-timer, its Genius, love it!

Quite an amazing App I must say
I’m a ‘Drift’ addict, but I used Track Day G when I drove on a closed loop track, lets just say I was hugely impressed, easy to use and quite simple really - colourful UI. I find most smartphone Data-loggers overly complex, too many features that are poorly presented, not TDG. Love the Leaderboard for each track, there’s no hiding from my friends when I post my times. Highly recommended and I'm going to get my friends to join in the fun.

Best Data-logger!!!
As far as tech on my iPhone, TDG is easily the best Datalogger I’ve used to date, rather colourful but easy to use regardless. The one feature I love the most is the vehicle profiler, saving my vehicle settings against best times for respective sessions - from track to track, now that’s genius. Highly recommended!

Lap compare
Love the app! When I used it at Silverstone, I compared my lap against my friends & it was really useful to see the difference in breaking & accelerating, more so in 'absolute' mode. Great app, keep it up!
