User reviews

Simple app that does what it is designed to do.

This app syncs your Apple health data with the Run The Edge challenges. Nothing fancy but works well

Inaccurate Sync

Downloaded this app yesterday for RTE. The sync to Health App is way off the scale. My steps all day yesterday was 13,222(6.85miles) including my 8.31km/5.16miles run (recorded on Nike Run Club app) it only synced 5.47miles by midnight. Then this morning it has changed to 3.98!! That’s minus 1.49mile! WTH is going on?? It’s so frustrating the fact that I’m signed up for a virtual running event. Please sort this app.

iPhone 12 - 100% does not work

That’s all I have to say.

Response from developer

HI There :) Please email us at info@runtheedge.com if you are having issues so we can help. It does 100% work to pull miles from your Apple Health kit to the Run The Edge Tracker. It will pull daily steps and workouts logged on your Apple activity app. We cannot pull third party data.

Issues with every iOS update

Just switched to the iphone 12 and once again this app stopped working

Response from developer

Hi there! Please email us at info@runtheedge.com and we will get you all squared away :) Might need to allow permissions for us again :)

A complete waste of time

This app WILL NOT sync anymore. It has been at least 6 weeks since it last worked. They are better off not having an app than letting this useless thing sit on the App Store making them look bad. Apparently it is even worse for Android users. Hard to imagine how that could be but my other team members on a challenge on Run the Edge tell me there app has been down even longer!

Response from developer

Hi There :) Your permissions just need to be re-set. Can you log into the trackery app (shoe icon, app you used to create your sync with your Apple Watch), hit connected, hit logout, then log back in? Please contact info@runtheedge.com whenever you have an issue! (Also this app is only for syncing the Apple Watch to our tracker, hence there is no android option. It is only for bringing in data for iOS to the challenge where the miles are tracked in our webapp)
