The speed limit is right again — and TrackHound now speaks your language. SPEED LIMITS • The posted limit could read far too low for kilometres at a time — a 30 sign held across open road, with the over-speed alert going off the whole way. Where a road carries no posted limit, TrackHound now uses the country's legal default for that road instead of borrowing a number from somewhere else. • Estimated limits show with a dashed sign — and now they genuinely are estimates, instead of a borrowed number shown as though it were posted. • Silence the over-speed alert for the limit you are on with one tap, on the phone and on CarPlay. It comes back by itself at the next different limit. NAVIGATION IN YOUR LANGUAGE • Turn instructions are now in the language the app is set to — on screen, on the CarPlay card, and spoken aloud. They were English in every language before. • Distances are spoken in your language too, and written the way your region writes them. • VoiceOver reads speeds properly instead of spelling out the unit. ROUTING • Fastest can offer two or three route choices up front, named by where they go, so local knowledge picks the corridor before you set off rather than arguing with it at speed. Turn it on in Settings. • Choose what happens when you leave the route: keep me on it, correct once and then accept where I have gone, or never reroute. Set per route style, for every vehicle. FIXES • Pro stays unlocked after purchase — a timing problem could switch it back off moments later. • A recorded ride is no longer lost when its log cannot be written. • Max speed in Vehicle Settings is entered in your own units, not always km/h. • Settings has a search field. It had outgrown scrolling.
