Your Monitor is now watched even when PawMode isn't running. Until now, alerts could only reach you while the app was awake — so the one failure that matters most, a Monitor that dies silently in the car, was the one it could miss. A small service we operate now watches your Monitor's heartbeat and alerts your phone even when PawMode is closed. New • Backup alerting — if your Monitor stops reporting, you're told, even with the app closed. See the Privacy Policy for what the service holds. • Critical Alerts — genuine emergencies can be heard through silent mode and Do Not Disturb, with your permission. • Off duty — stop being alerted for an hour, until morning, or until you turn it back on. Your Monitor shows when no one is listening, so a paused phone can't quietly leave your pet uncovered. • Photos are encrypted — snapshots are now encrypted with a key held only by your two phones. Pairs set up before this update keep sending unencrypted photos until you pair the phones again; your Monitor shows a reminder with a button that does it. • Sooner on heat — the emergency cabin alert now sounds at 30°C instead of 35°C. 35°C is where every dog is in trouble; 30°C is where the ones most at risk already are. • Photos are cleared automatically — snapshots older than 48 hours are deleted rather than kept indefinitely. Fixed • A shared Premium could keep unlocking features long after the other phone stopped confirming it. • A purchase could fail to register as Premium on the phone that made it.
