History is not working and you are very hard to reach for a fix. Lots of articles and computer no people!
Terrible battery life!
Cat tracker battery doesn’t even last 36 hours, while the cat is in the home! For £15 a month it is a rip off! Cancelled membership
Not always reliable
It shows my dog having left her perimeter when she’s sitting right in her yard.
App sucks
Cannot connect trackers at all stuck in the loading loop when I went to sign in it kept giving me errors. Whoever designed this app needs to be fired because it sucks.
I’m sad it’s not what I had hoped for
It may very well help find your dog if your dog gets lost. I hope that never happens. In the meantime, the Tractive is so big and heavy it just doesn’t work for my 67lb dog. And by the way, wouldn’t it be nice if the app would just track your dog when you take a walk, without having to first go into the app and tell it your going for walk… for each dog? It may not sound cumbersome, but it is. If the app can track your dog when your dog gets lost, why can’t you track your dog automatically when you take a walk? It doesn’t make sense. And back to the actual device itself, we put it on his collar. I think he wore it for six months, before we noticed under his neck is all raw from the rubber rubbing. He’s a Porcelaine Hound. If you know anything about those dogs, they are practically naked with not much fur. The larger Tractive device (more battery life and for bigger dogs) is so big and bulky that I wish I had bought the smaller one (less battery life) for my big dog as I had for my small dog. My small dog has a lot of fur, so we haven’t noticed any rubbing problems with the small Tractive. In any event, we removed the Tractive once we saw how badly it was rubbing, and it’s been three weeks, and it’s finally starting to heal. But it will take another couple weeks before it’s complete. In the meantime, I’ve paid for a very expensive dog tracker that I can’t use right now. [Before this happened, we noticed that it was rubbing (we tried everything to prevent it), and he was loosing fur there, but we figured that was a small price to pay if he runs off.]. And again it’s certainly frustrating that you have to go into the app, and tell it that you’re taking a walk, for it to track your dog’s walk. We were sad that it didn’t just track that for us. By the way, my little dog got loose last week, [the app never notified us - she was loose for 45 minutes] and I thought I’d be able to go onto the app and see where she had been. We know from the neighbors that she was at least two houses down. And we know from our cameras that she was hanging around the house also. But other than that, we can’t go into the app and see where she was. That’s frustrating.
