False alerts
It’s a nice tracker, but if you’re gonna have it, you should have video cameras to back up the false alerts
Inaccuracy & Poor Service
GPS location accuracy is highly inaccurate & random. Customer service is terrible.
Peace of mind
Having an adventurous Labrador can be nerve racking. My new 6 XL is our second Tractive. Adding it to my account was easy and quick. I use it in live mode while hiking and it has been a relief to always know exactly where she is even when I see she’s just behind a bush next to me.

Such a helpful app, gives me peace of mind knowing where he is, especially as we live on a farm which can be very dangerous with all the machinery. But I’m super happy he’s now learnt his safe patch. The only issue is the battery life is limiting.
I would also love a feature for a voice speaker, to give voice commands. This is super helpful if you’re not able to be nearby, or if you’re on holiday for example, so you can still connect & give familiar voice commands to help when a minder is in charge.

Fence issues
App doesn’t notify me when my dog leaves the fence perimeter unless I open the app. I got this collar so I get such notifications… too bad. Notifications are enabled.
Been offline for three days now
When I plug it in at home it shows up. As soon as it unplugs. No network.. I have done the 10
Button presses. I have driven it to areas of good cell service. I even managed to get it to do
A software update .. it seems to have done this last year at this time as well( I remember because I was on crutches then as well as now) I’m at my wits end .. it’s nothing but a weight around my cats neck at this point .. thougherly not impressed at all.. is this some sort of planned obsolescence? As my tracker is over 5 years old? Do I have to buy a new one and buy another subscription?
Just curious why I’m still trying to use this? Usually I’ll get a position in the last 30min orso and use the AirTag to find him

Great features, easy to use
This tracker lets me keep track of my 15 pound indoor/outdoor male cat who likes to wander. It’s got great features and holds a charge for a long time. The collar attachments are solid and the app is bug free as far as I am aware. Highly recommend this unit

Great support from Daniel with swapping to a new tracker. My pet is safe & I have peace of mind. The AI assistant & online guidance isn’t much use, but I was so happy to get assistance from Daniel, a real human. The new tracker is working brilliantly. I’ve used Tractive for 4 years & it’s great to always know my pet’s location.

Not accurate!!
Had this for over a year now. Doesn’t stay on for one. The tracking is way off. Can’t adjust sounds, the list goes on. Very disappointed
Doesn’t update health
Keeps saying tracker not detected when you want to update the health part. Been doing this for months even after updates. Don’t recommend. The App continuously has bugs. T-mobile offers gps tracking for a dollar a month and I’ve been using it along side with Tractive and T-mobile is better and $12 for a year.

I’ve had the tracker for six months. It works extremely well and was easy to set up. I’d recommend this tracker.
Customer Service is the Worst!
I have had a Membership for several years with five different pets and I still to this day cannot reach a live person to troubleshoot issues with the products. My latest tracker will not activate no matter what I try and it’s extremely frustrating that with all of the products I’ve purchased, and all of the memberships I’ve purchased on top of that I still cannot speak to a live person. Unfortunately, because of this, I cannot recommend this to anybody I know clients or otherwise. I am actively looking for better and more reliable products with decent customer service if anyone has a recommendation..

The best!
Very precise location. When she’s in the house the GPS doesn’t connect. At first that sucked, but then learned that meant she’s just inside :) this is a great investment
Very intermittent
Worked well at first then became very unreliable, unable to talk to anyone only via email.
Paying warranty but took ages to get a replacement, that is now not working and having to go back to email to try and sort.
Now not had a working tracker for weeks - very poor service!!

Not as advertised
I purchased 2 trackers for both dogs. One tracker I’ve had to replace once and the other tracker I’m now trying to replace for the 4th time, I’m headed for a 5th one
