1. The gps fence range. It’s huge. Making the tracking a little bit useless overall.
2. Device and app take a lot of tries to connect (turn it off and back on again etc.)
3. App is okay but not super intuitive
4. The customer service rep I talked to was very dismissive
Not bad maybe. I’ve tried other trackers and can’t say they’re wildly better but so far this one is only okay as well.

Good app. New features request
Great application. Only issue is keep forgetting to enable walk mode when out and about. Be good for it to track anyway.
Also be good to get a walk history rather than a timeline.

Tractive on a Cat
Absolutely loved this while it worked… too hard to track if it came off the animal.
We lost it in the bushes in January and haven’t been able to find it as tracker doesn’t make sound or light up when it doesn’t have charge.
Wouldn’t recommend to anyone I know. Unless traveling overseas and for peace of mind.

Good but could be better
This is great at first, but the battery dosnt last long, my cat didn’t come home and the battery went before I could find him ( it looks like you have battery but the last 40% goes down very fast) Luckily he’s been found now but that was due to me having a lot of people out looking for him. It would be perfect if the battery lasted longer

Lost dog
We lost our dog for over an hour in the mountains and the GPS couldn’t find him! It could find me & my husband but not our dog. Luckily, after an hour of searching he came back to the woods near our cabin that we rented for the weekend. My husband & I had been searching for well over an hour and it was starting to get dark, needless to say we were scared when he finally came through the forest.
We, our dog & I, were so happy to see each other! Kisses all around!
We are going over the GPS Tracker to see what else needs to be done so this doesn’t happen again.

New collar connection doesn’t work
Excited to try the new collar but the app just spins / loading when trying to connect, have to keep using the old collar tractive until the bug is fixed

Tracker doesn’t hold charge very well. I need to recharge it every other day. Expected better.

We have a husky, and he is innovative and determined. We hoped this device and app would be helpful. Even just going through the setup process I have already found numerous bugs and problems.
Let’s start with the virtual fence feature. Unless you have at least 2 acres of land, your house is too small for it to be virtually fenced. I have a half acre lot, and the minimum size fence I can establish as our home yard includes four other homes and a street. It is ridiculous for them to advertise the ability to virtually fence a yard when they cannot support an average sized suburban yard. If you live on an older street with quarter acre lots, the virtual fence feature is even more useless to you.
There is no quick and easy way to turn on the live mode function so I can track his location! It just opens the map and I stare at it trying to figure out where there is a button to switch the collar into the higher battery consumption mode that update updates location more often and it’s nowhere to be found.
The power saving function, which works by detecting your home Wi-Fi, apparently cannot locate the Wi-Fi network that my phone is using to connect to the Internet. This is literally an API available from Apple for developers to find and use the Wi-Fi network they’re connected to. Set up any Internet of things device, and it will quickly find your Wi-Fi network. Why is this app failing so hard at something so simple!?
When trying to leave feedback on why the feature guide was not helpful, it was limited to 100 characters. I couldn’t even explain why I was unhappy in that short space. So even when I was in the mood to try and be helpful by telling them what was not working for me, they didn’t wanna hear it..
I regret buying this, and I will be looking at another product to replace it with. I am so glad I only paid for the one year subscription instead of the five-year “discounted“ option that would’ve cost me 350 bucks for something that doesn’t work as advertised.

Wildly inaccurate for a service that sells its accuracy
Almost daily, this app will tell you your cat is hundreds of feet away from where they actually are. The map is telling me that my cat is three streets away. He is in my lap.
If it ever comes to the point where your cat gets out of the house, you will never find them— at least not with this app.

Data miners
The insistent demand for my location data for a tool that does not need it, only tells you one thing; that this is not about providing a better app for “tracking dog walks” but for data mining and selling your Geo location. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR DATA!
Not always accurate
It says my cat has been outside when he absolutely has not. He’s been kept indoors as we have recently moved house and they need to be kept in for 3 weeks. It says he has been across the road and over some houses other side of the block but we know that’s impossible.
Brilliant Dog trackers
Please show the health activity sleep pattern heart rate everything as well as where your Dog is on the walk they connect automatically with GPS and don’t just rely on your cell network overall brilliant device
