What's New in #TrailsRoc Maps

2020.1

June 2, 2020

# This version requires iOS 13 or iPadOS 13 # Fixes a bug that prevented map data from loading and app menus from appearing, especially for new installs. Sorry about that! # Fixes some bugs with handling links shared through Facebook and some other sites/apps # New map data! Harris Whalen Park in Penfield, the Fairy House Trail in Black Creek, and some other minor changes # New iMessage sticker! #TrailsRoc Pride # Better units and labels for distances and lengths # 3D touch menu: Touch and hold on the #TrailsRoc app icon on your home screen for quick access to a shortcut menu # Support for Siri and shortcuts # Clearer privacy practices. Privacy policy link added to Menu > About This App. And in iOS, Settings > Privacy > Location Services, #TrailsRoc mistakenly allowed the "Always" option to appear. The #TrailsRoc app has never actually requested to track your location in the background, it only needs the "While Using the App" option. With this release, TrailsRoc opts out of the "Always" option to make this more clear # Support for iOS 13, iPad OS, and the latest iPhone/iPad devices # Other performance and usability improvements and bug fixes

Very helpful

Really helps with some of the local trails but could definitely use an update since it’s been 4 years especially the Crescent Trail.

Broken!

Horrible app! I was looking forward to learning some new trails and going hiking with the family but this app crashes as soon as I try to open it! Garbage, fix it! Why would you release such a great resource and refuse to keep it updated so it doesn’t crash on new iOS versions?

Mendon ponds

Finally the trails make sense to me.

Very helpful!

Excellent for finding your way on trails already mapped.

Great app!

Great local trails app with stellar service. I emailed a concern to tech support and my issue was addressed within a couple of hours. I’m excited to explore more of the trails on these maps.
