Disconnects Too Often
This app is essential for the glasses, but it disconnects far too often due to "inactivity". Reconnecting requires entering an email address and password, which is huge nuisance when it has to be done repeatedly. Many of my iPhone apps can remember my login information for days on end. Why can't this one?

These are the best if you want live captioning. Hands down
Game Changer
TranscribeGlass has truly been a game changer for our family. Our father, who has hearing loss, and sometimes struggled to join in conversations especially in rooms with multiple voices or background noise where he needed to turn his hearing aids down. These glasses have completely changed that. Now, he can follow along and participate, which has brought so much joy to him and to us.

One of the co-founders personally helped resolve a technical issue we were experiencing, and the level of care, patience, and dedication was beyond anything we expected. Life changing
I wear these in every single class I go to and I can’t imagine life without them. I’ve had disabling hearing loss since I was a child and these glasses have made life so much easier, boosting my confidence in the classroom and with my friends.
Disappointing
I had high hopes for TranscribeGlass but my experience has been overwhelming disappointing. First, the performance is far below expectations. The transcription is often inaccurate, laggy and unreliable. In addition, the glasses themselves feel cheaply made and are uncomfortable to wear. Second, the customer service experience was equally poor. I scheduled an appointment to learn how to use them, but never received the call. When I tried to call I couldn’t reach anyone. Since I tried to return the glasses I keep getting the run around. Overall, this has been a frustrating experience. Save your money and time-this product fails to deliver as advertised.

Good on their word
Honestly can’t speak to the product itself because my wife, who is very stubborn, refused to try using them when I surprised her with them. But I felt compelled to write this review because of the class and understanding that they carried themselves with throughout the return process. They are a young company, and I think young people, trying to make it and they are earnest in their belief in their product. If you have any concerns about the Transcribe Glasses team, you don’t need to. They are trying to help people in need, not take advantage of them. They can be trusted.

Amazing
Not only are the glasses enabling me to read what people are saying, but I can refer to the captions on my phone where 10-12 sentences are available.
They offer amazing customer support. Twice I have emailed questions and both times they have responded in less than six hours! Who does that these days!?
