It’s actually a scam, I am planning a trip to Europe and it won’t allow me to speak with anyone who resides in the city I’m traveling to until I pay for a membership. The whole point of the app is to speak with locals, so if this is a paid app it should be advertised as such..

Downloaded the app, the X button cannot be pressed in the UI when the paid window pops up. And you cannot swipe or click away from it

I’ve messaged over a dozen women, trying to find a place to stay, no one gets back to you even months later (not a single one), the accounts are fake. Don’t waste your time. Especially if your situation is an emergency. I made a post on the apps main feed asking others if they are experiencing something similar and my account was deleted. Just for trying to ask a question. I have no idea what this apps intention is, but it isn’t for other women to help each other. After 6 months of using TravelLadies, i can safely say, every single “active” account that i messaged, never got back. And the app keeps asking for money if you want to send messages to others and i can definitely see how someone in dire need of a place to stay wouldn’t see the harm in spending a dollar or two here and there to send more messages. And that’s how they make their money. Preying off the people who need their service when in fact there is no service just the illusion of one.

Hello! Can I make a suggestion that a search button gets added above Private Chats? I absolutely love the app and have been using it all summer long, but I found it really difficult to find old chats when reaching out to a lot of people, and it would often take me a really long time to scroll to find the chat I was looking for. Ich wurde von der App suspendiert scheinbar für immer und ohne Vorwarnung, weil ich meine Wohnung für Reisende zur Untermiete angeboten habe, nachdem mehrere Menschen nach einer Bleibe gesucht haben. Ich wollte kein Gewinn damit machen, ich wollte die Kosten decken, die dadurch entstehen. So wie ich andere Nutzer der App auch bezahlt habe für ihre Kosten, was ja auch selbstverständlich eigentlich ist. Ich verstehe, wenn man auf der App nicht per se Mietinserate stellen darf, was aber ja auch nicht meine Intention war. Wenn man einen Fehler macht kann man auch erstmal jemanden verwarnen, aber gleich für immer sperren find ich sehr übertrieben. Ich mein ich wusste ja nicht, dass ich nicht mal darüber reden darf ob man Kosten teilt für etwas. Auf Nachfrage hat der Support extrem unfreundlich reagiert und ohne Hallo oder irgendwas geschrieben. Also insgesamt super unprofessionell reagiert. Sehr schade.

To clarify, you were banned because you're the creator of TripBFF and joined only to promote it. It's misleading to say you were banned just for asking a question when you didn't disclose your connection and were using the platform for self-promotion.
