Tolle App mit Potential
Benutze die App jetzt fast ein Jahr im Abo. Zum Ansehen der Fotos auf der Karte ist das sehr schön, leider hat sich die Video Export Funktion nicht besonders weiterentwickelt. Ich hatte gehofft, dass auch Haltepunkte definiert werden können und das/ die entsprechenden Fotos eingeblendet werden können. Dann wäre die Exportfunktion toll. Auch das Abfahren der Karte könnte optimiert werden. Das dauernde drehen der Karte ist für ein Routenvideo zu unruhig. Schade hatte gehofft, dass ich mit der App meine Reisevideo Erstellung beschleunigen könnte. Leider ist das aktuell nicht möglich. Werd wohl das Abo jetzt auslaufen lassen 🤷🏻♂️.

App stürzt immer ab
Leider ist die App so nicht brauchbar, da diese jedes Mal beim Versuch einen „Trip“ zu erstellen abstürzt. Vielleicht ist diese auch mit über 2500 Fotos für einen Trip überfordert. Die aktuelle Hardware ist ein iPad Pro 11“ M2. Die App liest noch die Fotodaten aus und danach schließt sie sich bzw. stürzt ab. Leider hab ich anscheinend die Pro Version vor zwei Jahren umsonst gekauft, ich weiß aber das diese damals zumindest mal funktionierte. Als Hardware wurde damals ein iPad Pro 9,7“ verwendet.

There aren’t many apps in this domain (a trip photos and videos organizer by location, with “at a glance” overview of the trip on a map), and with good privacy protection. Thanks to the feature to select photos in a date range, you can have a trip defined literally within seconds.
A trip definition is a collection of references to, ie, not copies of, desired photos and videos, either manually selected or picked up from a specified date interval, hence, a minuscule additional demand on the phone’s memory.
On the overview map of the trip, multiple photos are grouped within circles, each circle containing photos within a radius that is specified by the user. The circles are connected (automatically) by lines that show a mode of transportation between them, eg., by car, walking, etc. These modes can be user defined.
The developer has been very responsive to suggestions, and answering clarifying questions.
The best is to use the free trial to assess if this is the app for you. Although it may not be obvious, there is an option to purchase a life time license.
