Garbage Spam
I can’t tell if this was ever a real app. I tried it. It’s garbage! No idea how it works. There’s lots of gold spinny things yelling at you to spin them and earn “cash”. That level of garbage.
Crypto spammers heaven
Travello used to be a great app that helped travellers gain ideas, tips and inspiration from other travellers. While it can still serve that purpose, it’s become heavily infiltrated by spammers, scammers and crypto traders who post totally irrelevant content. The admin of the app is pretty non-existent meaning that irrelevant content floods the platform on a daily basis without filtration or removal. This has ruined the experience for travel-focused users of the app. There are now far better alternatives on the market.

Glitchy, outdated UI and not straightforward at all
The app screen keeps reloading rapidly on its own for no reason. Created my profile but nothing is showing up in terms of what the app seems to be advertising so not really sure what the point is. The one thing that worked was asking for payment if I wanted to buy points for things?? I don’t even know what I’m buying so why would I want to give money to this app? Very weird.

Use other apps!
This app is horrific. The app itself doesn’t work (I have tried to book things, but it just won’t let me upload my personal details to do so), and the company has very strict cancellation rules. All this doesn’t come with a better price - in fact, without any promotional discounts, the costs are often a lot higher. I’d stick with Klook or GetYourGuide.

Great idea. Limited functions
I hope the developers read this because I think this could be a huge virtual hub for travellers. It has some very cool features and fun ideas with a nice interface.
Firstly, I don’t like how much pesters you to keep your current location on. I was automatically added to local groups which is a privacy concern.
Secondly , the search functions are very limited. It would be great if you could search by hashtag or another level of granularity to find experiences. There are only a handful of groups which are currently too vast to really be useful, especially as user base grows. Right now, it’s no more useful than TripAdvisor really, but with less reviews.
I also couldn’t add Spain and Thailand to my past trips. I’ll try using it when I’m on my travels next month, and I’ll update this review.

🤩 A must have travel app for solo travellers
Solo female traveller her and Travello has completely changed the way I travel. The community aspect is incredible, like a global network of likeminded adventurers. I’ve met so many amazing people through the app, both locally and overseas. Whether you’re a solo traveller or planning something with friends, the community makes you feel connected and supported wherever you go.

DO NOT BOOK WITH TRAVELLO – WORST EXPERIENCE EVER
We booked the Ocean Safari Great Barrier Reef Morning Tour via Travello for June 28, 2025. The booking was confirmed, we received vouchers and all details seemed fine.
But when we showed up for the tour, the operator told us that the tour was never scheduled due to weather conditions and should not have been available for booking in the first place. Ocean Safari had no idea about our booking – it simply didn’t exist in their system. We stood there, ready to go, and were completely turned away.
Since then, Travello has completely ghosted us. It’s been over ten days now, and we’ve had no response at all — not via email, not by phone, not through the contact form. This is unacceptable and completely unprofessional.
Travello sold us a tour that wasn’t running. They took our money, and now they’re not even replying to refund requests. We’re incredibly disappointed, and we strongly warn others: DO NOT trust this platform. You might end up stranded like we were, with no help and no compensation.

My favourite travel app
Seriously, this app is amazing. I’m a female solo traveller and I’ve used Travello across Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. It’s such a great community and I’ve met so many amazing people from this app - some will be friends for life!
They also have this rewards program where you get points just for using the app and you can use the points for tours and activities around the world. I’m travelling so much cheaper than other people I mention the same tours.
5 stars for this app. If you are a solo traveller this is a must have travel app.

The worst App
This app is really hard to navigate. I can’t find my current upcoming booking and I can’t add it after I have paid for my tour online, because their system don’t allow it. Also can’t find and see my cashback voucher.
Bug ouverture app
Après l’installation, l’application s’ouvre qu’une seule fois. Ensuite elle ne veut plus s’ouvrir. Pour que je puisse l’ouvrir à nouveau, il faut que je la désinstalle et réinstalle, c’est très contraignant.

Loved it but Performance issues
I like the app very much… but the performance is very bad.. always loading, gets stuck… too slow….. please improve.
Unsafe practices
I, along with 5 of my friends, booked a tour departing from Rainbow Beach on March 8, 2025. However, despite the unexpected cyclone disaster (Cyclone Alfred) and serious government safety warnings, Travello sarcastically encouraged us to drive from Gold Coast to Rainbow Beach. We requested cancellation, but received no support and were continuously misinformed.
As students, we feel this behavior took advantage of our lack of knowledge about our rights. Our safety was ignored, and we are left with no viable options.
We would like to make this issue public and hope for a resolution.

Best way to get cheap tours
This app had to be the best kept secret. The reward points you get for just using the app pretty much get you unbeatable prices on every tour or activity there is. Love it
Crashing chat constantly
Got new message from someone and message popping up “let’s see if you have email” super annoying makes app not possible to use
