About

TraxxSkills helps you build the behavioral skills that determine whether you start before doubt sets in, recover from setbacks, navigate hard conversations, and follow through when it matters. These are the skills employers say graduates lack and that schools rarely teach. Lessons run 10 to 15 minutes. You follow a character through a recognizable situation — a first job, a hard conversation, a setback at school — and move through it by making behavioral choices that change how the story unfolds. One skill per lesson.
Every lesson ends with a field task — something specific, tied to what you just practiced. A person to actually talk to, a question to actually ask, a thing to actually start. You have a week. Because behavioral skills are not built on a screen. They are built when you start the hard conversation, walk into the job interview, or ask for help. Seven phases — Initiation, Regulation, Recovery, Navigation, Autonomy, Integration, and Influence — built on behavioral science and developed for first-year college students.
TraxxSkills is currently available to students at participating universities. If your school is not yet a partner, ask about bringing TraxxSkills to your campus.

What's New in TraxxSkills

1.1

* A new lesson each week, each one built around a single skill. * Every lesson opens with a scene, explains what is going on underneath it, then puts you in the moment to practice it yourself. * One Field Task per lesson. Small enough to fit into the week you already have, and you tell us how it went. * In-person events across the semester where you use the skills with your group, in a room with other people. * A Science Notebook entry for every skill, there when you want to go further: the mechanism, the research, the full toolkit. * Five characters move through the semester alongside you. You will recognise what they are up against, and you will see how they handle it. * Notifications when a new lesson unlocks and before each event, so nothing sneaks up on you.
