Low budget option

I enjoyed watching the 2 free trials that i found on the Treadmill TV website while on my treadmill.
I downloaded the app and registered. Every time i selected a menu option (walk-run-cycle), the app immediately shut down. So i tried the search and that worked fine. The favorites menu is a bit buggy. Sometimes the same video shows up twice as a favorite. I decided to get the annual subscription for close to $18. After that went through the settings menu was unclear. If I clicked on "subscription" it wanted me to add a monthly one. (Buggy?) But Apple shows my annual subscription went through and the app shows all the videos are now unlocked.

I tried downloading one video and browsed a website while it downloaded. Came back to the still open Treadmill TV app and no download. Tried again while in app but it started to hang at 42%. Buggy. Shut down the app. Opened and it again and started a new video download. The first 47% downloaded in under a minute and then it would pause a few seconds every percentage. It took another 8 min to download the remaining 53%. (Buggy.)

The download video doesnt play. There is no play button or menu and tapping it does nothing. There is only an option to delete it. (Buggy.)

The videos over my internet play just fine and I am pleased with the quality which I mirror from my ipad to my 30" TV via airplay.

For the low price of the annual subscription, this app will give me some variety for the next few weeks. My ipad is running ios 18 now so perhaps the app was designed to run on an older ios version.

Response from developer

All these problems has been fixed and thank you so much for useful feedback. You are welcome to test again.

Stupid

Would not accept any of the passwords I tried to create even though they had all the requirements and would close the app if I tried to continue as guess so it got deleted immediately

Response from developer

This problem was fixed earlier this year. The problem was due to newest Apple iOS version which did not support our libraries at the time you tested it.

Worked for a couple of days then nothing

Downloaded a couple of videos which where quite nice to watch while on treadmill. Unfortunately after a couple of days the videos stopped playing and now nothing works.

If I download a video and go to the download page multiple copies of the download show on the page but none of them work.

Attempting to play a video which hasn’t been downloaded just results in a failed to play screen.

Doesn’t Load. At all.

NO pic, no sound, nothing.

App crashes EVERY SINGLE TIME you try to open it

Found these videos on YouTube and they were the ones I liked the best as far as quality, no lame background music and some pretty locations for runs. Paid for a month subscription with high hopes for other videos, but once I subscribed and then tried to open the app...the app crashes every time it opens and never even gets to the home screen before it disappears. Very disappointing and even though it was only $2.99 for 1 month, I still want my money back.

These issues has been fixed for a long time ago. Please try again and get on touch if you need a refund.

I subscribed ... app keeps crashing...

I downloaded the app, subscribed to the service and the app immediately crashed. Now every time I open the app it crashes. A waste of $20!!!!

Won’t unlock

Subscribed but only have access to a few videos and even those are choppy and almost impossible to control on an iPad Pro 2018

This has been fixed. Please try again

Poorly thought out

Does not work well on an iPad. Controls almost non existent on iPad. Definitely can’t access them wile running on treadmill. Videos listed with distance only which is no good unless you’re running the same speed as the videographer which is unknown. Why wouldn’t they add time of videos to descriptions? I run an hour at a time, no way to know which videos last that long. (Most don’t) and when videos end it just stops. No autoplay. So you’re left in the middle of your run staring at a picture. And remember, it’s almost impossible to access controls while running. I don’t think anyone involved in creating this app actually used it on a treadmill themselves.

Love the YouTube channel, but this app is flawed!

Subscribed, but no additional videos were added, only have access to free 5.

Excellent scenery for treadmill runners

No distortion that I’ve noticed in other online “virtual” run videos. This stuff is top notch. Keep em coming!
