I was a legitimate TREADS customer and was charged $63.08 per month. The app is now nonfunctional for me, I have been unable to reliably obtain service or cancel through the available support channels, and the recurring charges continued anyway.
I have since found multiple recent customer reports describing the same issue: the app not working, support not responding, difficulty canceling, and continued billing.
If you are a current or former customer, check your bank statements carefully for recurring TREADS charges.

Do not get this service! Read the reviews!
Like everyone else is experiencing, since paying off of my Treads account 2yrs ago, Treads app no longer works, Customer service no longer responds and they have recently been attempting to pull funds from my closed bank accounts using Stripe (an ACH company) that I didn’t give permission. I am currently working with Stripe to block Treads from attempting to charge my closed bank accounts that where closed for this very reason: to stop Treads from charging after subscription was satisfied.

Unable to contact real person or sign into the app
This app worked great with steady service for both my vehicles for the first couple years. After it went to an AI only model, I never got service again. There is no real person to contact outside the AI chat. After I demanded to speak with a real person my account was locked out and I can longer sign in. I am still being charged for services that I have not received no can I access.

Not in service anymore but still charging!!
We got treads several years ago and did the 2 year plan for tires and opted for a monthly oil change plan as well. Everything went great and we were very happy with our tires, service and ease of setting up appointments. After the 2 year plan was up we continued the oil change plan. But about 9 months ago we couldn’t set up a an oil change on the app. We tried to message tech support with no response, then email, then text. There is no phone number to call.
After several attempts I had to reach out to my bank to try to stop the payments. I had to get a new debit card. Trying to cancel my subscription was a nightmare.

No longer works
The app has stopped working, and I’m being charged for a service that no longer offers my tire size. I can’t even use the app to cancel my subscription. No online support of any kind is available. STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP.

Appears to no longer work
I’ve been trying to reach anyone for 8 months. Had a flat tire, scheduled service and vendor did not show up. After weeks of daily emails, in app messages and phone calls I have yet to hear from treads. They do however attempt to get payment every couple days.
Locked out of my account
I have tried everything try to make new account even will not let me login no matter what I try cannot get in contact with app support cannot send messages through the app cannot receive messages through the app. The app is just not working or responding. It always says timed out.
They are ignoring my contacts
I have paid off my balance and been trying to close my account and they are still charging my card and I no longer am able to reach out to someone

This used to be an amazing app/subscription, but is now unresponsive. I’m assuming they went under and continue to bill monthly with no way to cancel. I scheduled a maintenance for a tire repair and they never came, emergency roadside never answered, and there is so way to get in contact with anyone.

Reliable and convenient
Always fast and always there when you need them. I have had a great experience
FRAUD
This company has seemed to have gone under. There is NO one that works here. Yet they continue to bill all their customers and cannot cancel on the app, this is a FRAUD. Services were great until mid 2025. The least they can do is to cancel all customers subscriptions and stop the auto pay. This is FRAUD. REPORT TO YOUR BANK IMMEDIATELY.

Customer for 5 years
Treads app left me hanging on the side of the road on 12/22/25. I’ve been a paying customer 5+ years and this is how they treat paying customers! Please cancel my subscription!
No human customer support
It has been two weeks and I have not been able to get ahold of customer support. Only the chatbot that says it will attempt to get a human. Road side assistance does not answer, text messages to their contact number go unanswered as well as emails unanswered. Had a flat tire and needed repair had to go to another shop and pay for services. Have oil change and tire rotation scheduled but not confirmed yet either. Horrible customer service as they GHOST you

This company used to be good and now you can’t get a hold of ANYONE! I have reached out to their emails and through the chat and Nothing! Can’t cancel the subscription because they don’t ever answer! My God how do you get a hold of any one!?!?!?!?

They do an excellent job of taking money but there is absolutely no way to talk to a human being it says tires aren’t available in my area for renewal yet they still take the money out of my account I have tried to cancel it’s impossible this just only proves a I can’t run a business And these people are just stealing at this point
