Its okay
The app is generally okay I’ve had it for about 2 weeks it does well however I don’t seem to be able to export it. It works pretty well but there are definitely improvements to be made like it can be a bit confusing. There aren’t really any videos online that are under 6years old. One of my main problems is that I cannot see the whole tree at the same time and I’m unable to export it which is annoying as id like to share it with family members. Overall it’s not the worst but it’s not terrible and there are no major problems.

2 Issues Resulting Low Rating
The app is good, it has both Ancestor & Pedigree Chart maps, and stores names neatly,
unfortunately this app DOES NOT PROVIDE SHARING OR EXPORT OPTION on the IOS.
fix that, you'll have the #1 Family Tree Creator App available in the AppStore/ or on IOS.
There is no use of storing data or syncing data if that data is NOT AVAILABLE to be transferred externally.

Can’t add collaborators
Two main problems:
1. You cannot share your trees with others from working the app. You have to login to the Genealogist website. This is not obvious.
2. When you invite collaborators to your tree, they can only view and comment suggestions. They cannot make edits themselves. Seems very pointless!

Ok.
This is the best family tree software I’ve found so far that I can use on my tablet. However, it’s not nearly as good as ones you can get for a PC. The process of adding more information to each individual is much more laborious than it needs to be. Also, I would really like to be able to choose to make some of the extra facts I enter visible in the main tree view. It will show the person’s name and date of birth and death, but I would like to select things like nickname to be shown. If there is a way to do that, I can’t find it.

Useful to use
Useful to use but would like to suggest it being possible to use the app without creating/logging into account first, the whole tree to be shown without having to click onto people individually, it being made easier to add people from different relationships such as half sibling and their other parent, it being easier to remove people from the tree, it being possible to add sibling before adding at least one parent first.

I love the app and but the problem is how can I download the family tree that I made to my photo image to my mobile other than that the app is great.

I’m using the app for my made up story. The only problem I have is the siblings is not in the right order. I don’t like it as birthday order.
Kind of basic but works great; could use some more features and a software refresh
The apps works fairly well for the most part, but it’s a little basic and the software looks about 10 years old (even though the last update was only about 2 years ago) and could really use some a refresh and modernization to improve user-friendliness, speed (slightly laggy for today’s standards though not too bad), ease of navigation, and visuals. Additional suggestions (in no particular order): 1. Ability to view full tree and/or more generations at a time. I’ve read at least one other review asking for this. 2. Ability to add/show adoptive children and parent(s), and support for children of parents that were never married, and support for half-siblings. There’s a way to do half siblings if the parents were ever married, but it’s a bit complicated. You have to add the other parent as another spouse of the shared parent first, then add the half-sibling as a child of the non-shared parent. But it doesn’t work if they were never married. 3. I don’t like that middle names are abbreviated in the tree. There should be a setting to turn that off. 4. More fields for other names, like maiden/birth name(s), former name(s), names in other languages, etc. 5. Support for cultures that write their family names first. 6. Ability to denote sibling order without birth dates. I’m sure it is very common to only know sibling order for ancestors. 7. It’s a bit annoying that you can’t add a sibling without adding a parent first. Right now you just have to add a father or mother and just type unknown or something random before you can add siblings. 8. A checkbox for “name unknown”. Sometimes you have to skip a generation, or an ancestor is known to have sibling(s) but name(s) are. unknown. This would also be a workaround for #7, though it’d be easier if you could just directly add a sibling. 9. Ability to change date order preference, and add day of the week. 10. Ability to denote person is deceased without a death date. 11. Ability to invite others to edit. There might be a way actually as I see a setting for it but I can’t figure out how to invite.

Bad design & marketing
Two main problems:
- price of app not indicated anywhere
- Importing a GED file requires you do it at the developers web site. No privacy!

Keeps coming up with fatal errors on both iPad App.
Fatal Errors on start up and having actually managed to get going, I can’t delete a tree file. Again fatal errors.
Moving siblings according to age
Is there a way to move siblings around according to order of age. I am finding that when you enter a sibling that’s the order they stay in. It’s quite possible that you don’t have birth dates when you enter a name. I would like to see the list of siblings I order of their ages - oldest to youngest.

I have been finding this app really good, and I would rate it five stars but when i search and I look for “In Other Trees” It says I need a subscription to continue but there are no subscriptions availiable!

Not sure why I need an account if I only want to use it for personal data. Deleted it. Found another app that let me use it without jumping through hoops.

Rubbish
Totally useless. Keeps crashing and coming up stating fatal error, then when it finally works it just wants to sell me a complete app. 100% would not recommend or reuse.
Not great
Spent hours creating my family tree only to have the app crash! Had to delete app to get out of it. Haven’t reinstalled so unaware if data still accessible.
