Great app. Does not display heart rate from Apple Watch. Maps are very out of date.

The functionality of this app is good. It would be better if it would display speed and distance from the map view. Also display heart rate connected directly from Apple Watch. As of September 5, 2026, maps are several years out of date (North Carolina).

Thank you for your feedback! Apple Watch does not natively broadcast heart rate data via Bluetooth but there are some 3rd party Apple Watch apps, such as Echo Heart Rate, that allow this function. Good for providing E bike information.

It does a great job of providing battery and power information. However, it does not communicate to Trek Riding Club app or to an Apple Watch. That means I’ll have to use three apps to track one bike ride. One to operate my E bike, one to monitor my heart rate, and one to … Well, maybe I don’t need the Trek Riding Club app.

Love my bike but having connectivity issues with app

I love my Trek bike and the app is great but I’m having issues with connectivity upon start-up. When I connect my app to the bike, it connects and then after maybe 10 seconds, it cycles through the connection process again. This happens 3-5 times before it finally locks in. Once it locks in, I don’t have any further issues, but it is a bit annoying when I start my ride and the connection disengages and shuts the motor off. Looking for some help from the Trek team to solve this. My local bike shop replaced my controller already, so they believe it’s an app issue.

Hey there, thanks for reaching out! This is expected behavior for both the app and the eSystem Trek Central needs to grab different information from the bike when it connects, such as battery SOC%, FW info, and motor tuning parameters. The eSystem can only send this info when the eAssist is disengaged, hence the motor assist shutoff after you start riding. No matter what I do it won’t let me tune my motor in the motor tuning settings it will continuously load tell my bike turns off what do I do I want to change my settings
