Bike ride

Love the app it’s amazing

It’s fun

I have my Apple Watch but the specific challenges in this app does get me out a spec more often which is good

Great Ride Tracking

Great way to track rides, and keep track of how much I commute. Love the challenges, and glad to see the hiccups in the ride data have been addressed.

Good App

I like this app to keep track of my rides.

Not Working

The last few days the app has stopped counting my ride stats for challenges and ride count. I have to leave then rejoin the challenges. Last night after I got home, I had 175 rides. This morning after getting to work and logging my ride, I had 175 rides. This evening when I got home, logging my ride from the office to home, I had 175 rides. But my recent rides were all showing up in my activity. I can’t find a way to submit a ticket, so I’m complaining here until I hear from customer support.

Great tracking and super easy to use

There are many biking apps but this one is the best. Very easy to use and tracks your ride even when your phone loses power.

App is disaster

App lost all the data there is no way to bring data back a lot of mile and challenges are going, be honest this app is wast of time newer again……..!!!!!!

Just use Strava

Constantly logs me out during my rides and doesn't count them

Please Sync with Apple

Like the app, but it’s a major miss not to be able to import/sync with Apple Fitness. The number of Apple Watches vs Garmin/Wahoo devices should come into in consideration. Fear of missing ride tracking because Apple syncing doesn’t exist.

Why does the app stop while I’m riding?

The app stops recording during the ride. Today I rode 27 miles and got credit for 11.

Grrrrr!

I have a real love/hate relationship with this ride app. I’m a fairly new user so one 20 mile ride didn’t register (rider error, but didn’t realize it until after my ride). If you hit Finish Ride, you should be done. It seems to be a two-step process to end and save your ride. Caught it right before getting on the interstate in my car today, so it added almost a mile to my ride. My highest speed was 49.6 mph. Ugh!

Trek app

Stats are important to me, and the Trek Ride Club app is a tool I use daily to track and monitor my rides - not in it for kudos but strictly for my performance & progress. Anything TREK: THE standard for me

Meh

I like that the app auto pauses during recorded rides; I wish all apps did this! Unfortunately, I can’t import from Apple or Strava so I have to set multiple apps for every ride (Apple, Trek Ride Club) and I’m not sure it’s worth the trouble. I like the ride challenges in the app but once I’ve completed them, I’m not sure the app is worth using.

Supporting America 250 with Shops

Excellent challenge and T shirt selection.

Bad technology waste of time

Does not work. I ride 10 miles it records 2miles. Auto paused feature cannot be turned off. I have turned it off repeatedly and it comes back on. Very disappointed. When I encounter products like this it colors my opinion and actions associated with my purchases.

Coupons given for achieving goals cannot be used

I received a $50 “coupon” for meeting the goal of riding 50 miles in celebration of Trek’s 50 years. That was pretty much a gimme. But when I tried using the coupon, the Trek website cannot accept any method of payment — either a specific card or using Apple Pay — because I was told (through the chat) there is a higher level of security. The initial check for payment passes, but then when the transaction is submitted to the card company, it is rejected. Pretty much defeats the purpose of setting and achieving goals. UPDATE 1: Twice I tried contacting customer care. The first time was outside of their window of operation by 10 minutes. The next day I tried again, but all customer care representatives were out on training. UPDATE 2: Part of the issue was the CC provider denying the charge because they thought it was fraud. A call fixed that. However, the Lizard Skin handlebar tape I selected was causing the website to fail when submitting the transaction. Two of the three products I ordered went through, but the handlebar tape caused the entire order to fail. I tried a different type handlebar tape and the order was placed.

Glitches

Awesome app, the Trek website to make routes is always out and never working. Cannot build routes on my phone. Needs to be a bigger screen that I have to hotspot it off my phone to iPad.

Almost perfect!!

I’ve been using this app since it was first available to download and use! I truly do love it. All the updates over the last year have helped tremendously (being able to see past weeks/years stats!) but it desperately needs Apple Fitness integration. Last year, I had way more rides logged in apple fitness (starting a cycling workout is a click of a button on your Apple watch) so I lost out on easy challenges that I technically did complete because the stats were stuck in Apple Fitness. I even have a Garmin Cadence Sensor 2 but it doesn’t integrate with Garmin apps (known issue), it will only connect to my Apple Watch, more stats that I can’t integrate to this app. It’s been over a year since you all said you were working on Apple integration so I hope we are close!! Either way, I will continue to use this app and work on remembering to launch it before I start my Apple workout.

Best app

I love this app, and I love the challenges that are offered, it’s definitely way better than Strava
