Great lightroom alternative
A couple features that would be nice in the future:
- Bulk or Queued editing (select a bunch of pics and then either auto-sample them all or go one by one, edit & save and then automatically load up the next pic)
- Better "save" workflow. Right now you hit save, then save again. Would be nice if I could have it default to "save to camera roll"
- sampling reticule - I understand why the crosshair lands directly under your fingertip, but I'd prefer to "grab" the outer edge of the circle so I can actually see where the reticule is without my fingertip covering it. Just a nitpicky thing.

Thank you! This is fantastic feedback. My original objective was to make negative conversion quick and straightforward without requiring a huge editing workflow, so it’s great to hear that auto-sample is working well for you. I really like your suggestions too, particularly the edit/save/advance workflow and the sampling reticule. Making it easier to work through a whole roll is something I’m very interested in improving. If you can get in touch via the support link in the App Store and let me know what type of negative you were using (or send a sample image), I’ll investigate straight away. Your feedback helps make Trevni better Update (2/9/26): I’ve identified and fixed an issue affecting some RAW workflows. The latest version now properly loads and develops various RAW formats at full resolution, including DNG and ProRAW.

Thanks so much. Really glad to hear Trevni is fitting into your darkroom workflow. That’s a great shout on straightening and corner correction too, especially when working from photographed negatives on a light table. Definitely something I’d like to explore in a future update.
